Just to dissipate any anxiety around push ups, he doesn't like them either.

    I've been Money Tipped!
My legs have been hurting a bit and swelling ( my swelling has been going down a bit until last ten days or so) and I just realised I haven't increased my water uptake quickly enough to deal with weather change. Made me think WaS might be suffering similarly and also not making connection as some of our situations are similar....

Ha ha - I wondered what a poo-see throat was, then realised it was related to pus, not puss! Awww bad luck melly, hope it clears up very quickly.

WaS has asked me to post for her! She's suffering with withdrawal but going on with it very bravely (but is in bed.) I've just heard from her :) She does seem to be doing brilliantly and believes she is through the worst (of withdrawal).

  • Good afternoon everyone!

He is so gorgeous, Melly. I love his little face.

I haven't read back yet as I am still very shaky but things are better. I spoke to my GP who apologised profusely for the temporary doctors mistake and said of course I don't need an appointment to get my medication. The other doctor just panicked because of the amount of opiate meds. I have decided to wait until Tuesday if I can to take my medication and my GP has told me to note down any new pains that occur now they aren't being masked.

So far my Neuralgia is much worse than I thought, lots of electric shocks down my face. The pain in my side is very bad, it feels like a rib problem and hurts when I press it. I also have a very bad cough, codeine is a cough suppressant so I had no idea it was that bad. Other than that there is the usual pain of my neck and lower back and knee. I have been in bed for days and can't see myself getting up any time soon.

I hope everyone is doing ok, hugs to all that need them. I will catch up on the thread when the withdrawal gets a little less and on Tuesday everything will be back to normal.

My legs appear to be swelling and the skin is very tight. I presume it's from laying down for days. Poor WaSp is now having to escort me to the bathroom and back (which is happening far too often with the withdrawal symptoms) because my legs feel stiff, it's almost as if I am trying to move bone in the wrong direction when I walk. Still, only a few days to go and this has given me and my GP a better idea of what actually hurts. I had a little cry earlier because I didn't realise that I was physically so affected. The pain medication masks a lot.

Milliefleur is out of hospital and feeling much better. WaSp asked her when she went to hospital and she said 8pm that morning which ties in with what A&E told us. BIL jumped in the background and told her it was 2 days earlier and that she was confused so doesn't remember. I do wish he wouldn't do that, he makes her think she has problems with her memory when she doesn't. Hence WaSp and BIL have argued because Wasp told him it's him that is confused and BIL put the phone down on him. That's fine because WaSp has no wish to talk to him at all right now. I will talk to Milliefleur on the phone tomorrow because she is more open with me about how she really feels.
