    Mellymoo,

Well done on the wedges. Don't beat yourself up about the canx lesson. Have you had the yummy smoothie yet?

WaS, I told DH you had your walk without your blanket. He said, "What, naked?" and is highly amused with himself.

That's an amazing achievement WaS! I'm so round of you! Here's to it happening again in the not to distant future! :j :T

Thank you to everyone for their lovely comments regarding my Dad! They are much appreciated, and I'm so glad you enjoyed reading about him. :)

Sorry I haven't replyed to everyone individually, I still don't know how to do that multi quote thing! :o

whitewing, that pendant you posted the link to is gorgeous! As I've lived right by the beach all my life, I guess that's why I love it, so it's totally my sort of thing. I don't wear jewellery much at all, but it would look nice hung up somewhere like in the bathroom or my car maybe?

Had abit of a nightmare day yesterday. :(

Started off ok with my Mam phoning up to say the local newspaper had put one of my Dad's photos in as a tribute to him. He knew all the photographers, and as he was the President of the local Camera society, he was well respected by his fellow photographers. So that was lovely, if somewhat emotional.

Then, at about half one just as I was sitting having a coffee, relaxing before going out into town, my phone rang and it was the hotel where my Mam had gone for dinner with her friend. She'd passed out and they'd called an ambulance. She has a long history of fainting episodes, but hadn't had one for about a year. It always seems to be after having something to eat. They've looked into it but can't seem to find a reason why it happens?

It's extra scary though, because she's had two heart attacks previously, so I always worry that it's something to do with her heart. :( They did checks in the ambulance and then whisked her off to hospital, kept her in for about an hour and then released her as all checks came up ok.

She got abit upset when they asked who her next of kin was and she went to say my Dad and then realised he wasn't anymore, and when they asked if she had anyone at home with her. I got abit upset because the last times it happened my Dad was there all laid back and making jokes about it.

She came back to ours for tea, but I felt so sorry for her as she looked so vulnerable.

If it doesn't rain, it pours!

This is probably the best thing I have read on this thread.

This excites me more than any outing you have done. I am happy and proud.

As others have said, its not that weird to hug trees at all. We have for particular hug worthy trees at home.

I totally agree! This is wonderful and made me grin so much!! All the excited exclamation marks :)

I would also hug trees if I could too ;) Well done WaS :D

WaSp is getting over-enthusiastic and suggested I go with him to Asda. Errr, no. Entering shops and other big buildings is a problem all of it's own. Another thing that is rarely mentioned about psychosis is sensory issues. As I have said I always sit in silence because sounds are extremely loud to me and more than one sound at once blends together into a terrifying roar and I can't differentiate between them. Lighting is the same and a supermarket with many sounds, bright lights and people will definitely take a while to work up to. Notice I am not saying impossible though, I hope to manage it eventually!

I also find large supermarkets utterly overwhelming now, but there can be ways to make it easier - mostly going when its very quiet. Smaller shops can be easier too.

...I now really want one of these!

Quick update: Managed to get most of the stuff this week that I needed to. Currently feeling pretty hormonal and drained. Not the happiest of dragons atm - but by taking things gently I'll be fine :)

Melly, don't beat yourself up about the cancelled lesson. If your mind isn't in the right place, you'd have a bad lesson which really knocks your confidence.

I had chocolate for breakfast and am having loads of doggy cuddles with dumbass dog. He's such a cuddle monster. I'm overly emotional atm so everytime he looks at me with his big adoring eyes, I burst into tears.

I got my shock absorber through the post this morning so back to the gym next week. No excuses. Size 14 trousers - I'm coming for ya.

Melly, I hope you aren't feeling too bad about the lesson or too overwhelmed. I still think you are downright amazing in coping with everything so well

Animals are so in tune with human emotions. They always seem to know when we need cuddles and loves! Much more in tune than husbands and partners! :rotfl:

I don't have breakfast usually, but I have been having a lot of chocolate lately....well it is Easter! Sort of/nearly!
