Good Morning all!
We were woken at 8am by a cheery alarm fitter who took one look at a very bleary eyed WaSp and said he will do the communal areas and other flats first and then do ours to give us time to wake up! I am amused, WaSp was up until 4am playing computer games, he doesn't look his best! The fitter is currently swapping the alarms over in the hallways and singing in a high pitched voice as he does it! I kind of like him...
On the downside I hate paranoia. This sums up my life right now. I will get back to posting more often when I am not overreacting to every little thing which will likely be the same time that the all the workman leave. Honestly, if I was posting now I would take the thread over asking everyone to analyse everything that happens around me, I am reading into everything and generally driving myself round the bend, nevermind inflicting it on anyone else.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

I can eat today! May I have my piece of Mars Bar cake now, please?pretty please?
JM, my fast days can vary, depending on what I'm doing. Tuesdays are my busiest days, so it tends to be a Tuesday, and then a Thursday. However, this week I was quite busy on the Monday and yesterday, so decided to have it then. This means that today, I can stop off, on my way home from Zumba, at a favourite cafe to have lunch! Yum!(I just lurve spiders!)

I can always have your piece, Pyxis? It's an altruistic gesture to save you from yourself, honest!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

It's horrid having fears. I've had a very fearful couple of weeks, gross anxieties that I haven't had the like of for a very long time, due to medication alterations and severe family relationship problems. The procrastination has got very much worse, compounded by it being the end of the tax year, and decisions needing to be made, which means I will have to sort my paper piles within the next week.
And that's so scary, because one of the piles will dredge up all sorts of ghastly feelings.
I hate being so scared all the time! The stupid thing is, that there isn't really anything to actually be scared of!(I just lurve spiders!)

Morning Team WaS. Especially big gentle hugs (if that's your thing) to WaS and Pyxis xx.
Am having major motivational problems. I have some work I really, really have to get done today. Totally CBA.... to the extent that I'm thinking about just going home. It's like my brain shuts down just at the thought of it as I hate this place so much.
Am v much hoping the mortgage stuff is sorted soon as am trapped here until it's finalised. Need new job! Or lottery win... that would do.0 -
Aw, I am so sorry to hear that Pyxis. It sounds like the past few weeks have been horrible! Plan something nice for yourself after facing the nasty paperwork. I often find that the fears leading up to something are far worse than the reality of actually doing it, imagination can make things feel terrible.
Hugs back to you too, tea. I think you deserve biscuits to get through the Bad Thing!
I am always torn about mentioning paranoia. One of the things that makes me paranoid (Ha!) is thinking that people will change the way they are to try to accommodate me. This is most definitely MY problem, not anyone else's. It is up to me to learn to fit in with society, not for society to change for my sake. I would hate people to change anything about themselves for me, I feel guilty enough that certain subjects aren't mentioned here because they trigger me. Not that I am paranoid about this thread in particular, it's about the only place that feels safe right now. My home certainly isn't safe!
I do have a healthy part of me that tells me to keep thoughts to myself because they are ridiculous and for the most part manage it, it just means that I still get to feel all the negative emotions before I can reason with myself. It will pass when the builders go which has to be soon, they have practically rebuilt the block!
Besides, I have a very happy thing that I am thoroughly looking forward to which I will tell people about nearer the time. That is keeping me grinning through everything!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

The alarm fitters are singing Michael Jackson songs, one line each in high pitched voices. They are so cheerful and funny. They can stay, I like them.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Can you do it now Melly? At the risk of sounding like my mother, you need something to keep you going, especially now, or you're going to end up very poorly as well. Are you working or can you get some sleep? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
