Thanks WaS I will check Dr's.
Their behaviour has got worse and I am very worried about OH.0 -
And it's not counselling, but remember Samaritans are always around if he (or you) just need to speak to someone.0

Hello everyone. How are you all doing?
I've got hospital on Monday and a meeting to discuss my general health with surgery in mind in May. I've been told I will need a mental health evaluation before surgery is agreed and that its not because of the happy pills but rather the nature of the surgery. I am wondering if that will also be on the same day in may, They have went me a questionnaire to complete about how I feel. ( I hate questionnaires, my feelings do not come in boxes marked 1 to 5 but rather in full sentences with metaphors). I do not therefore really know how to fill in the questionnaire best and this frustrates and worries me.
Messed Ups enthusiasm with wigs enthused me and I bought a cheap wig from ebay recently. Now I need to ask how to take care of it ( it tangles easily and I'm scared it will end up fuzzy like barbie hair). I am having adventurers trying to get it to sit well on my head too. However, for the moments I can get it to sit straight and look good it is incredible how different it makes me feel. I chose something I like rather than something that actually suits me that well. In fact I look a bit like an aged witch in it, lol, both grey and sallow at the same time, but I FEEL fabulous, which off sets any unflattering element IMO. And I'll think about make up when I work out how to work with it better. Fir thinks its hilariously brilliant and wants to take pictures of me in it because I look so different I shouldn't get camera shy.0 -
We really need someone who can help him understand that this is them and not him.
Sorry in advance if this upsets anyone but I hate them. Had to work really hard to stop myself cursing them and or committing acts of violence0 -
Much, much too cloudy.
It got darker, that's all.
Such a shame.
:T to people who managed to see it!
Weather glorious here in the West Midlands. Saw the whole thing with my binoculars casting image on a sheet of paper. Awesome!
Apparently, along with Wales,we had the best viewing weather. Even the people who'd paid for trips to the Faroe Islands didn't see as much as us(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
I feel cheated lol! I'm in the Midlands and it was rubbish.0

LiR yay for the new wig! I'm sure you look fabulous!
Work was knackering, ended up staying almost and hour later...my manager confided in me the other day she's worried about her sister in law, shes been showing signs of depression, and mania. Manager obv knows about me having bipolar and asked me about it. I told her the main thing she needs to encourage is SIL seeing someone about it. I gave her some links to websites such as BipolarUK and Mind and Rethink to give her some more info. Told erh if she needs any help with it i will happily help, but that priority is getting SIL some help if she's not coping. .This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Hello all, hope everyone having a good weekend
This week's attempt at breakfast muffins look a lot better than last week's (not difficult lol). Let's hope these ones actually taste of something!0 -
I am back at work tomorrow after a week off. I like my job although I'm finding it quite pressured, but I've decided I like being at home more. Having thought for years I'd be bored by not working, I've realised that isn't the case. Time to start thinking ahead - probably can't afford early retirement, but maybe going part time in the future might be more doable.
(The downside being I'd have to spend more time with Gitdog.)
Lir, hope your hospital visit goes well, and Melly, hang on in there. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Thanks elsien, its the consultant I hate most of all, the only one I really find truly offensive personally actually. Fir is coming with me, and that means that apart from the short time spent doing that thing, we have a day together . That's how I'm focusing on it this time.0
