Well done LiR, bet you're breathing a sigh of relief. Long may nice hospital consultants continue.

There were students observing, I have a strong feeling this influenced behaviour strongly too.

But I was pleased and give credit for better manners, and was pleased with myself too. I handled things better than usual too ( so both consultant and I met in the middle ) and was more forgiving with my self when I did become flustered over a query about another consultants' opinions. And said, it might be worth communication through what ever channels available to you if there is doubt as to reason or outcome. I don't feel I am the best person to handle this, because as you can see I am still suffering from memory difficulty , minor confusion and aphasia at times! While all things make sense to me at different times I would not put myself on a quiz team.

Elsien, give GIT dog a big hug from me, eh? Kiwi had now decided to both not like being left at home AND not like car journeys. Really, he cannot have it both ways! He has his first hair cut of the year tomorrow. He looks unbelievably hairy and big. I'm guessing he'll look tiny after the hair cut!

LIR - that is excellent! Shame you can't arrange for your consultant always to be observed! :p

Tea - what Pyxis said, and I said earlier (altho probably not as clearly). You need to separate ATM. This doesn't mean that you've made an irrevocable decision. There is the chance you could get back together if FOH makes a real real effort and changes permanently. But he has to do the running and make the ground up! In the mean time you have a chance to enrich your life experiences and get to a place where you can make decisions without having him on top of you (oh errr missus!)
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).

Good news LIR, it's always good when you're dreading an appointment and it works out well after all the worry! :)

Hope you're feeling better today, Tea? Like the others said, you don't have to bolt the door shut on your relationship, give yourself some space and see what happens down the line. :)

WaS, you really do need to write a book, the way you explain things is so interesting and readable, I'm learning so much about your conditions through these little snippets you keep throwing out there and it's fascinating! :) Oh and I hope the electricians turn up sooner rather than later. I'll be so pleased for you once all this work is done! If the electrics turn out to be a big job, get yourselves off to a hotel and send your LL the bill! :)

We've all been having tantrums on the Alphabetty thread! I felt ill!

Then Colin kindly gave me this tip, and it's all back to lovely green familiar now! :T :T

Go to settings and options in your User CP and click on Edit Options. Scroll right down to Miscellaneous options and then to SKIN Options then select:

    NEW MASTHEAD FIXED WIDTH (RECOMMENDED)

Then scroll down to SAVE CHANGES and click.

You're doing better than me Birdie - I can't even get into settings! I keep clicking it but nothing happens. Looks like I'm stuck with this one.

Oh well, sure I'll get used to it.

I've edited my last post to make it clearer.

Go to User CP Settings and Options
    Go to Edit Options
    Scroll to Miscellaneous Options
Then scroll to Skin Options and select (as in my post above)

Don't forget to click on SAVE CHANGES right at the bottom.

NB. Apparently, we might not be able to change back permanently.

There are feedback threads in the Feedback forum if you want to make your feelings known.
    It almost entirely negative.

I am seeing the old skin. I'm mildly worried about the new one. When they trialled it it made things like scrolling very difficult ( next to impossible) with my neurological issues...the scrolling with text against the light background made a 'flashing' effect.
