Rather be single and happy (with our without a PlayStation thing) than live in a sexless relationship.

I expect the OP's wife has thought that quite a few times.

To be honest, the only one I feel sorry for here is the child.

The wife has chosen to put up with crap for financial security and then whinges..

The OP isn't happy with his lot, but seems content just to whinge...

Neither have had the maturity, common sense or wit to sit down with each other and sort out what bits of life are bugging them - what's with sending a letter to your husband, instead of just talking?

I would suggest they either sort out a happy compromise or call it a day, for the child's sake. :wall:

It sounds as if neither make an effort - yeah, he should have had the sense to show appreciation and buy cards etc., - but, I haven't read on here that she is 'showing the love' either.....

They are both in a rut - time to s**t, or get off the pot....

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)

You're right - the child seems to have disappeared into the background.

Using a letter to get your thoughts clear isn't a bad idea, especially if the other person doesn't listen when you start talking but it's so sad that it's gone on so long that this is the only way to get through to him.

Well, I am afraid I would be hiding the games thing, and making him sit down and listen lol

As for the mouldy bathroom - whoever caused the mould is irrelevant, and of more relevance is the fact that they have both been, I assume, quite cheerful for their child to be bathed in there, regardless of the possible health risks from mould spores..:ee surely, common sense and parental instinct would dictate that one of them cleaned the bathroom!

    Sorry, they both sound dim.

But, I do think these daft gaming things should be banned for anyone over the age of 21 lol

I also love the playstation hate. Classic women rage. Getting jealous of a box hogging all your mans time. P:

Yeah, I suppose it is daft wives getting arsey about a bit of plastic.....but, then that leads to to the conumdrum of why blokes get so stressed when their partners whip out the old vibrator.....:rotfl:

Ye gods no, she'll think your being passive aggressive in a l'ook this is what i've done' kind of way.

The OP is an idiot, but if some bloke suggested a woman stop doing something she enjoyed on here it would be labelled as "emotional abuse" by half the forum! :rotfl:

  • this is very difficult. i'm struggling to make sense of everything. my wife is so angry, but she's still here so maybe there is hope. we sometimes struggle to communicate verbally, which is why she wrote me the letter. it means i can read it and ask her if i don't understand anything. it removes the emotional tone which helps me to see what she's saying.

i'm also struggling with the nasty posts on here. people laughing at my situation and so on. no things haven't been like this for 14 years.

our child showers in the downstairs shower room after his dinner. it's only me that uses the family bathroom.

So do you understand everything she's written down?
Do you agree with what she says?

She gave you the letter detailing all your faults (in her opinion) on Tuesday night so have you spoken together about it?
