Thats awful sunset, I would complain again to them.
Im still without card, spoke to someone on monday who assured me that it had been sent out and then today someone who has cancelled the 1st card and apparently is sending me another one.
I wanna ask for compensation, how long did all of you wait before asking?Total DebtWas £4145.81now £0.000 -
that suggests a migration issue with computer systems.
Pretty bad really to have put customers details at risk like that.
Then they tell us that if we do not look after pins etc etc carefully we won'y get money back in case of fraud.
I suspect that all the people that have not had a card replacement sent, may find that such cards are at their old addresses!!!
This stuff should be on the news but zip all gets said!!!0 -
Well i called them & they said as i'd has the £150 the complaint was closed! I'm going to ask them to open another compliant! Im so annoyed!0

Hi,
after having to wait 5 weeks I'm going to go for compensation as well. They've cost me time and money.
Can anyone tell me where they sent their complaint so I can get the money they owe me for the inconvenience.
Thanks, Ed.0 -

I got a letter yesterday saying they were paying me £50 in full and final settlement .I telephoned to ask them to review it and they said the offer was based on a formula agreed with the FS Ombudsman and they were not increasing it ..They cast scorn when I said that someone on this Forum had been paid £150 !!!0 -

OH....serious problem with Abbey. My current account statement should be due on 25 Sep 2007 (got last one on 25 Aug). But there is no statement yet. And there is no interest credit to my account either for the last month (checked on the interent account). My account was 8% rate.
Sorry, maybe not related to the OP. But well, it is the mess of Abbey at the moment.0 -
