Dating opinions please

Been dating a woman for almost two months, a total of 11 dates and still we haven't had a proper snog! I think this is strange and have raised it with them, they have said they don't know me well enough.

For me, a good snog is the key to a relationship. Opinions please, am I being too pushy?

Are you both from the same cultural background and of a similar age? How old are you?

I personally would find it odd not to have had a bit of a snog after 11 dates but for someone of my age and cultural background it would be pretty normal...for people of different ages or backgrounds it will be different.

You are and you are not, some people date for years and do not have a snog or anything.
Some like to test drive the car before commiting to a purchase.
Are you dating in a view to something long term or just killing time?

Have you actually tried physically?
Raising it must have been an arkward conversation?
It's usually not something people discuss first, it's normally something that "happens".
I think you can't really know if you do have chemistry with someone without at least kissing them.

Yep, only two years difference and the same culture. As you say, unless you have a good kiss, you don't know. Raised it and was told not ready as don't know me well enough!

She might have preferred you to take the lead & pucker up.

Two months and eleven dates sounds a long time to me.
Just a thought but ............. we've had threads on here in the past about 'who pays', and most of the ladies here always say they like to be equal and pay their own way.
Barny going by your name i presume you're about 35. This girl you've met she's not taking you for a mug is she ?

It's a good question, although I hasten to add, paying for the date doesn't entitle the payer to any physical thanks .

It's been a while since I was in the dating game, but a kiss always just happened, it wasn't an issue that we discussed.

I wasn't suggesting that the Op was trying to buy his way into her pants, but 11 dates sounds as if it's more of a friendship thing, and if mates go out it isn't just one that always foots the bill.
