• Glad the results were good! I must admit, navicular was at the back of my mind (navicular is not the sort of word you 'helpfully' bandy about though!) so really pleased there is nothing going on on that front.

Fingers crossed the farrier can work some magic and it'll just be a matter of time.

Hope you have a lovely weekend! xxx

  • Thanks Pink :)

    Morning world.

Well a lovely weekened we did have. Friday night DH and I exchanged home made Val gifts as Saturday's I'm up and out. He made me a lovely print of a picture on an old block of wood. Very nice and rustic and a picture of us that I love. I made him some heart shaped muffins with fruit full of protein powder that he has by the boat load for his workouts. We both were very happy :)

Saturday saw us at the yard then visiting family on the afternoon then Val night DH cooked a lovely 3 course meal :) Very nice!!! One pleased wife.

Sunday was horses then a birthday bash on the afternoon which was lovely, followed by a wine induced snooze and then relaxing (and slightly bored) night. I couldn't be bothered to do anything but I was bored so catch 22!

Also no work came in Thursday or over the weekend so I've 24 minutes to make up.

I shopped on Friday night as needed some things for the muffins meaning I feel like we're ran out already!

Also another curveball is DH is looking at a new job, he currently has a very physical and awful job that pays very well. He's looking at a career in the public sector which has a 18 to 20k pay cut and would definitely throw a spanner in my direction for the 2 year plan. I won't worry yet - everything has a way of sorting itself out and so much can change very quickly.

Meeting done and accounts checked. All up to date though 2 payments made at the weekend which I shouldn't have (total of £19) have gone through. I wish I'd not spent it and sent it to CC instead, but we need a life too and was just one of those things. So ss updated and adjusted. I'll see how we can manage until the end of the week without more food, I have a feeling I might need a mid week trip for veg. We will see.

The 26 minutes short fall I had last week works out around £12 so I am going to take that from elsewhere if I don't make it up.

Today I have !!!!py sandwiches for lunch.

I've also decided to use the Easter holidays as a Spring cleaning session. I'm going to completely do the whole house including gloss work. I don't want to waste my whole holidays so I'm going to plan it all out and manage it like a mini project.

Still no news on my phone grrr!

  • All sounds positive! I like the idea of an Easter spring clean, I seem to be fighting a losing battle with my house at the moment!!

Morning meeting done, was not an easy one but it's over with.

Money is tight but ok, now just counting down to pay day! 8 sleeps! The plan is to be off Thurs and Fri and use very little diesel those days. I'm going to do some cooking on Thursday and then give the kitchen a steam clean and start my spring clean a bit earlier than planned.

We'll have a wander out to the local duck pond and maybe to a play area but all in short driving or walking distance. Weather pending we'll take a picnic.

No work in last night either so will see what the rest of the week offers. Also still nothing on bonus or rise, it would be lovely if a rise covered what I forcase for job 2 to make!

Good afternoon, glad there is nothing wrong with the hoss, corrective farriery may help, my girl has odd feet (one upright, one quite flat), my old farrier just trimmed and didnt help, have changed and its made a world of difference, just trimming the heel and toe differently on each foot and she looks like a pair and is much better being ridden. Hope you can find a good way forward :)

  • No need to dwell on this however I've just this afternoon had the all clear from a breast cancer scare and whilst I have to undergo other things I am rather pleased to currently be breast cancer free :) I've taken the night off both jobs as I felt like !!!! earlier (excuse language) most likely due to worry and so I am going to now relax and enjoy Rosem@ry and Thym£ on catch up. Love them. My guilty pleasure.

    Happy Tuesday all.

Just found your diary and subscribed as I love your attitude and wish you lots of luck. Just being nosey, what is it you do for your 2nd job? Sounds a great little money earner. As you can see from my signature, we are just starting out this year on trying to clear debts and I intend to find any ways we can to make more money. Will be following your progress as it fills me with joy to think we will be in your position in about 6 years time.
