Wow that's loads paid off, that's focus for you :)
Love the way you organise your bills, sending this or that to this or that account, do you actually have lots of bank accounts or are they virtual accounts on a spreadsheet? I think that idea will work for me. At the moment all my ins and outs are together, messed up :)

• Morning hun

I have 2 current accounts. 1 is for the household bills and the other is for debt. My wages go into the debt account and I transfer a standing order over every pay day to the bills account. The bills account includes utility bills, council tax, grocery and fuel too. Also my horses and school bills. The wages account has the 2 loans by DD and then my job 2 payment goes in there as well as the day job. I use that money foe the DD and the CC's so anything that is left in there at the end of the month (if that happens!) goes to the CC which is my main target for this year :)

It's all managed on a spreadsheet though and after 3 years or so of tweaking it, it's got everything on it I need lol. Now I also have a dedicated page for job 2 which feeds into the debt paid forecast page. It's such an incentive and boost to see that for me. :) Sorry, rather a long winded answer!

So last night I got a file in taking me down to needing 60 mins to meet my quota and over hte £100 mark. After the 1/2 a pony is paid, we're currently sat at £50 from job 2 going to debt. As we're only at the 11th of the month, this is good. The file didn't arrive until late last night and I think the girl sending them out was in a panic as she took it off me after 5 mins because I'd not acknowledged it in the system. So after a quick email and explanation, I was sent a file and money wise it was happy days. I was in bed by 12 too so that's good. However tonight I must make an effort at spending some time with DH as I can read him like a book and his nose is starting to twitch ready for being pushed out of joint. So the plan today is home, changed, yard, ride * 2 then skip out, feed, home, tea, work, DH ;) I will continue to work when he goes to bed if it looks like I need to. This is assuming I will get a file in!

Tea tonight is something simple like omlette for DH and FF for the kids. I will make soup and have that.

Right, off to check accounts.

• It's that time of day when being an office worker is !!!! and I start feeling awfully tired sat at my desk but it's false tiredness. The unhealthy kind.

So I will try and perk myself up a bit and get something productive completed before I finish at 3.

• Glad it's not just me who hits 2pm and looses the will to live - it's usually the time I'm caught sneaking round to the chocolate machine!
• Good Morning :)

Lol definitely not alone there SS!

Well it's Thursday and the vet is coming tonight to give us the verdict on the big girl. Not sure what to say I am hoping for tbh.

So last night I got a file in, shortish one but higher rate so I will get the same amount of money as if it was a basic paying longer file so I am pleased with that. It wasn't an easy one though. Anyway - I have adjusted my spreadsheet to show how many minutes I need taking the extra money into account and now stand at needing a 26 minute basic rate file to meet my quota so fingers crossed that is tonight or the weekend. Even the kids are asking me if I have met my quota yet lol.

Yesterday I made a small £6 ish payment to the which will just round account down. No more money in until 24th now.

Tonight I must make some bread as we're all out and hope DH remembers to bring the chicken home (he is a butcher) or we'll be having the vegetarian version and I'm only planning chicken and pasta so won't that be boring lol.

I've just been to the local phone repair shop and he can't repair my phone so I'm going to have to bite the bullet and send it to S0ny. So frustrating and I am not getting a 2 year contract again!

• Morning all

Well the vet visit, as always with the big girl, was eventful. They have a mobile xray machine which is amazing but of course she wouldn't play ball and put her foot where she needed to, resulting in getting her sedated. So she got done and the good news is nothing is worse than 2 years ago (we thought navicular) and there is nothing obvious that could be seen. Also good news is that when she was lunged the vet said she has never seen such a good moving 17yr old horse especially after having had the op, in a long time. She said she looked very good, in fact never better!!! Bl00dy typical she doesn't trip when the vet's there but that is always the case.

So the only thing she could see is that her hoof could have another couple of cm taken off and her heel is very prominent so she can have those taken down. This is not obvious visually and only on the xray. The vet is emailing the xray to the farrier (how modern?!) and he is going to take her shoes off and she will go barefoot, taking the hoof down a bit at a time. Other than that, there's nothing else we can do without MRI and more and I don't think we will go there.

So the next few weeks will be no ridden work and lots of lunging, turn out, free schooling and so on. Advice is not to ride at the mo so I'll report back when we know more but all is not lost.

In other horsey news, DD had a ride on loan pony last night as the girl who normally rides him was poorly - everyone was laughing at her as she asked if it would be free - girl after my own heart LOL. They went lovely together and slowly but surely is what we're after. I don't want to rush them and scare her as like any other pony, he will have his moments which she's not felt with him yet. He can take her as far on as she needs to go and between you and me, I think he has a soft spot for her as when she rides him, he goes lovely, when the older more experienced gorl does, he is cheeky. Obviously they have different riding styles too.

In money news, I didn't get any work in last night so I am still waiting for the 24 mins I have outstanding to meet my quote, so fingers crossed for the weekend. They did offer some work last night but the email came through at 10pm and I didn't see it until this morning. I don't think I would have done anything that late anyway though.

Tonight I am making some muffins with pr0tein powder in them for DH as he does body building and we are doing HM Valentine's gifts this year in an effort to save money. Blueberries are on offer in Ald1 and we buy them anyway :) I think I will do some flapjacks for him too.

This weekend is horses, 70th birthday bash and family time :) As little as possible will be spent on groceries though we do need more than I'd hoped for.
