I cannot see where you tell us the seller said their 'internet is down', only that they supplied you with a TNT tracking number, which suggests they bought the shipping in a timely manner. How do you know they are still not having internet problems?

You have replied to mgdavid that the timeframe was fine but here you are, moaning BEFORE the timeframe.

Oh, I think you have mentioned the £200 again.

You spotted that? I can't see where they spoke with them "at home" in the OP either. We need his crystal ball. ;)

To be fair, the phone call is referenced in paragraph 5 of the first post. It is only in post #42 that motorguy tells us the seller said their 'internet was down'.

Do you have a crystal ball then?

You don't KNOW. Yes it's likely it will be late. But it isn't late yet.

In truth it's probably the seller deciding you are hard work.

I know I would not be sending it to you now.....:p

The seller will only get one defect....it's one time the defect system is great.

Its TNT. They havent even picked it up yet.

I dont think asking if an item has been dispatched makes anyone "hard work".

    Thank you.

I didnt think the "internet was down" was relevant at the time particularly as the seller said "it was back up now" and was going to contact TNT and then never got back to me anyway via email, ebay or otherwise.

    *sigh*

Because it hasnt been dispatched yet after a week, and the seller doesnt seem either terribly concerned or inclined to tell me when it might be dispatched.

Are you saying that not updating sellers of delays and not dispatching for over a week is ok?

Phone call. Doesn't say a home phone or landline or mobile. Nothing in the Op confirms the seller is at home.

So, you don't need it quickly? It's not overdue? What's the issue?

Wanting it before the due date is impatient, you might not think so......

    *sigh*

The issue - again - is that its been a week and the seller has neither dispatched NOR updated me on when they might.

    Are you saying thats acceptable?

A week? 7 days, 5 working days? No. None of those and despite your argument it is still WITHIN the timeframe.

Come back on Thursday when it really is overdue (by a day).

It was to their home land line. Only number registered on ebay.

It's moot, but my point was, you didn't make that clear in your OP. By the time I suggested they may not have been at home all sorts by way of an addendum were added.

Anyhow, I will come back on Thursday, when it is overdue a day to see how stressful it all is then.:A:
