I bought an item last saturday from an ebayer with 177 positive feedback and 100% positive.
It cost me £180 and £20 postage.
Didnt get a dispatch notice by tuesday, emailed them asking to confirm it had been posted. No response.
Emailed them again wednesday, no response.
Requested contact details wednesday evening, rang her. Apparently TNT hadnt picked it up and she was going to ring them. She gave me the tracking number she had been given and that i would be able to see when it had been picked up. She assured me she would get it sorted
Emailed her last night for an update, no response.
Checked again today and it still isnt showing up on TNTs site. mad:
I mean, seriously?
Shes had my money since last saturday, no doubt downloaded into her bank account. She still has the item, wont respond to emails and no sign of it being dispatched!!!
VERY annoying.
Rant over!!

What was the dispatch time in days on the item? If you can't see this, what is the estimated delivery date?Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.0

I think a lot of people just don't bother until 2nd of Jan. With all of the bank holidays there's not a huge amount to be gained by posting quickly right after christmas.0

But if someone has sent you £200 for an item the least you can do is keep them informed of progress.
OP will no doubt reflect their experience in the star rating.0 -

This is important and I second your question.
Many people use a default 2 or even 3 day dispatch, so allowing for the bank holiday on Thursday it is quite possible it was not even die to be sent until WWednesday, when many couriers seemed to work a part day. S if it went Friday it is still too early to be delivered.
The estimated delivery date might be a bit optimistic though as eBay seemed to ignore the bank holiday.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Yes. though with just the one Bank hol day its a bit shoddy that she has had four other days plus today to post it so far and hasnt bothered sorting it.
If it was a small insignificant item i wouldnt be so concerned, but £200 is a lot of money.

Too be honest, if you had sent 3 e-mails over the Christmas period, and phoned me as well and all this was well before my dispatch time / delivery estimate I'd refund and block you.
Pester the seller after the dispatch time has come and gone, but not before. This listing will have given you a delivery timeframe which you accepted at the point you bought.0 -

It isn't shoddy if the delivery date is 5th to 7th. She may not be at home.0
