I have completed the drawers (Tuesday after work) and have managed to fill them with my sissix bits / stamp etc. this leaves one drawer free for now - which is not big enough to store paper - which is my next big problem...
I spent the full day yesterday using a load of junk to make die cuts - I have to make some cards for a volunteer at work - which is hard as i tend to make them in ones of twos and she wants a few...
my mother in law sent me a load of bits - mostly card blanks the other day which i have been sorting out.
so 2 to add and more hopefully later today when i finish some cards...

Haven't been around or made anything for a while. Family problems going on. By brother, who is only 41 had a massive stroke a few weeks ago. He lives in Singapore, mum is with him out there now, so we have been trying to sort everything out back here with his work and care and everything else.
Sat down last night for the first time since it all happened and started crocheting. Before i knew it 5 hours had passed and i'd zoned out and crocheted on autopilot. Seem to be keeping me sane right now, so i'll be doing a lot more of it and getting back on track.Book a week challenge: 11/52. Competitions won in 2021: 120 -
Hey all
Many apologies for being AWOL since signing up In JanuaryHave just finished catching up on the thread and absolutely love all the makes and crafting that has been going on - well done all of you. Not had a great start to this year - but definitely nowhere near as bad as last year - no heart attack this year to excuse my absence just massive struggles with the "black dog". The last few weeks I have been busily de-cluttering in general and seem to be getting my mojo back and have:
All loose photos now in albums
De-cluttered 50+ knitting magazines
3 x Scrabble frames (God parents)
9 x Scrabble/Poker chip Frames (Vegas)
2 x Scrabble Frames for preschool leader
1 x Scrabble Frame (You, Me, Forever)
1 x Scrabble Frame (Love, You, Me)
20 x Cards
1 x 50 x 50cm Canvas (All You Need is Love)
12 x Cards
wip:
2 x rag wreaths
2 x Craft boxes (1 for nieces and 1 for grand-kiddies - great for popping in the stash I will probably never use)
So I can confidently cross 50 items off my target, if you'll have me back. I promise to update more regularly.
Love and hugs to all that need them.
C x

I have mended the peg bag at last and whipped up a few cards over the weekend... I say a few I mean 3...
I have completed 5 signatures for a junk journal and have decided how to decorate the cover - just need to tie them in and to sew the cover too... (adding buttons in the colours ofr the rainbow - which will be fun to sew to leather)...
Next on the list is finish that... I will get it done today. I hope... hahaha
Then tags and sorting out my craft room are on the cards...

Good to see you back, ziggy - you've been busy!
cat lady, I'm sorry your family is having a rough time. It's good that you can find some ease through crafting.
I'm counting 2 towards my total - I used 2 fat quarters (and some thread and interfacing) to turn granddaughter's too short t-shirt into a dress. I'd use 3 fat quarters if I were to do this again, to achieve more fullness. Annoying thing is that I had plenty I could have used. Oh well, you live and learn.Emily's tshirt dress by r.doctor, on Flickr
