I had a play with my ultimate pro on the weekend, and made the concertina file in the picture. It measures 6" x 6" and it came out of the inspiration magazine. See Picture in the link below

Was actually quite simple pixie dust, it was just one piece of card scored in certain places, and two smaller pieces of card scored every half inch and concertina folded. Stuck the concertinas on the other piece of card and decorated. Only took me about 90 minutes in total and most of that was sticking on the gems!

    Morning all,

Been a busy few days for me but I finally have a pretty tidy and organised craft room :)

I have also ended up with 3 large boxes of items I am going to de-stash so will start listing these on Facebook soon :)

And the good news from me keeps on coming as I can also declare 1 more make to add to my total. I have finally got around to decorating some "love" wooden blocks using photos, patterned papers and stickers. I love them and they are a great addition to my craft room (before my tidy I didn't have room for any decorative pieces). They didn't really use much stash but they did make me cut into a "special" paper pad which I had bought ages ago and been saving for that special project :) I've also had the blocks for ages knowing that I wanted to make this project but had been unable to as they had been buried amongst my piles of stash :)

My final good news is that although I have had a flyer come through the post and have heard constantly my crafty friends talking about that craft channels birthday celebrations I haven't once turned on the channel or looked on their website :)

I'm starting to think that I may be reformed :) There's nothing like a good tidy up and organise to really bring home just how much crafty stash I really have :)

Hope you all have a lovely, crafty day. Keep stash busting :)

I just had a birthday so all my recent efforts seem to be in vain as my friends and family were very generous with papercraft supplies and fabric :)

I, too, have avoided the tv offers! You are a good influence, crafting mad.

I'm counting 2 towards my total, as my 3yo granddaughter made a couple of cards for her cousin's birthday. Yes, she made 2 cards for 1 boy :)

I haven't been doing too well with the crafting lately, but can blame some of that on the 'Art Therapy' magazine that is out, and I use some of my stash to colour, so that might count!

Hello again  I was on the previous thread and then my laptop gave up however I am back online and keen to continue with my stash busting :D

Currently I am working on crocheting a single bed sized blanket to shift a pile of style craft yarn that I bought for another project that fell by the wayside. It should use loads of yarn however I may have to buy a ball or two to finish it off as I had used some of the yarn on a different project and may not have enough for the repeating pattern I have chosen.

To use up some of my scrap yarn I have taken to knitting toys and crocheting finger puppets for the children which gives them new things to enjoy and myself an emptier yarn basket :j

So I will start my yarn destash total afresh for this year and keep you updated. Now I am off to read up on what I have missed…..
