Oh brrrrrrrrr
I think I need some new winter clothesCrazy clothes challenge 2017 - 30/3000 -
Evening all, sorry I've been AWOL, I've been in the U.S. with work, but also had a day and a half weekend there....including a visit to an outlet mall...nuff said
did include another trainer purchase $150 down to $99. Had a fitting with them too and hopefully they will help correct my ankle problem.
Also ordered an item last night with a discount offer which is tried on in the U.S. But they didn't have my size.
Need to review some gym stuff (one sports bra is approx 7 yrs old ) but really there's not much else I need. (Not that I really needed anything I bought in the U.S.)
Well done Kerri I think you did well with the spends in the U.S I just spend spend spend when I go across the pondHavent been for a while and the bank balance does really thank me for it :rotfl:Glad you had a good trainer fitting and hope it helps your ankle problem.
Well talking leggings the other dayI have made an expensive considered purchase 2 pairs of Spanx
leggings 1 in Dark Grey and 1 in Black £45  for the 2 which was a great price as they are normally about that each. So will see if they are all they are cracked up to be.If not I will return them
So a large amount of the budget spent with more to go as I have booked a personal shopper for FridayAs need to fill in loads of gaps now I have almost kondo'd all my clothes and I am truely sick of making mistakes

Crazy Clothes challenge £300/£48 and 5 months /0 without spending :T0 -
I did go a little mad, took a set amount of $ which I spent, plus I spent an additional amount on the plastic, oops. However one item is a bracelet which I'm hoping my OH or DM will make a b'day present for me. It was worth it as its one of those there the $ cost is the same as the £ cost so adding in the currency conversion, I saved about £20vs buying in the UK.
let us know how the Spanx work out, how did you manage to get them for such s good price.
Also a confession today, bought an item I'd seen in the U.S. Which they didn't have in my size, handy 20% off promo online so would've been rude not to. Should go with leggings (long at the back) and some skinny grey jeans I got in the states.
Excited to hear about the personal shopper mav is it a particular store you're booked in for?Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Haven't been about and up until last week hadn't spent anything on clothes. I've been in "Frugal Dougal" mode as I have handed in my notice to work and will be self-employed from October.
Then last week I signed up for a small contract for when I leave - so in a mixture of relief / celebration I decided to treat myself to a gorgeous Desigual maxi dress (eBay). The dress has arrived - is stunning but is VERY long though - which led to the purchase of some Fly London sandals wedge sandals. The sandals are yet to arrive - I will make my decision then as to what stays and what goes but in the meantime I will count it as money spent.
Both of them together come in at £89.76. My budget is nothing but a fond memory.Shifting my energy for 20200 -

Hi Fedupandskint
Is that 27/31 months without spending on clothes? If it is, that is amazing.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

I've not posted on here for a while but just dropping by to say that I am still within my budget for the year. I can't believe how little I have spent on clothes;)
There's a way to go yet but I'm far more optimistic that I can do this than I was at the beginning of the year;)

4 more months to go, let's see how we all get on for the final third of the year and the temptations of sales and the autumn winter collections.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Hello
I joined this challenge earlier this year and failed miserably quite quickly. When I joined though, i set up a savings account with £25 per month going from my current account and it can't be withdrawn for 12 months. So, next year, I will have £300 in there for spending on clothes. I hope that having the money in a separate account, in advance, might reign in my spending rather than me just buying stuff with my debit card and then spending too much.
in theory it might work

Oh dear, I ended up buying a coat at the weekend - however, on the upside a) OH kindly gave me the £ for it b) I preferred the £20 one in Primarni that wasn't all scratchy (well no chance of wool in it from there!) vs the £80 one from RI I had previously been coveting.
Total want as it's a very similar colour to one I have but a bit more 'chuck on' than the one I have.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
