I've a couple of things to report. Lovely Phase Eight silk top with little under vest thing in soft blue and white £3.50 and soft blue cotton straight leg trousers (the kind you can turn up a bit and wear with flats) £ 4. Honestly, £7.50 isn't bad for a summer outfit, is it?

I don't have much left of my total, but to be honest I think £150 was a bit of a low budget especially as I have cleared loads of unwanted stuff out. Having said that, I don't tend to buy so much in the winter. I had a nice new coat and boots out of Christmas money in the sale last year, so really just need a couple of new woolies and that will be me done.

:rotfl: whoops sorry :o...ok, no I'm not that sorry :D

Well done on the summer outfit. I haven't bought much apart from sportswear, oh and some of those floaty trousers which I need to try on still :o was a whim I must admit. Haven't been out to shop tbh. although is it me or does it feel like summer has barely begun and all the summer stuff is now in the sales? its like flippin fashion shows have taken over the high street - I don't want to be shopping for AW15 in July...

Ooooh Mavvy those trousers sound lovely and Gabor shoes in a charity shop? Wow what a find. I'm also off to either Bakewell or Ashbourne this morning (haven't decided which) so I'm on the hunt for bargains. I know I'm bargain hunting as a bit of light relief from everything with my Mum at the moment, but I'm ok with that. I am still applying the 'does it spark joy' rule and it's healthier than lots of other things used for stress relief.

Have a good weekend all and happy bargain hunting or resisting, whichever you are doing

Hi all...I didn't spend on clothes last month...nothing I don't think. But I will need to buy a few bits this month. I did also spend nearly my entire months allowance of £50 on school uniform for my daughter. She needed a new summer dress and it was £38. Ouch. Poor quality too, but you have no choice. I do understand the reasoning for school uniform and agree with it in principle. I just wish they didn't take such advantage of the monopoly.
    Total debt at 18.9.17 £1950

    Debts down £12,700 high in Feb 2015, £10,700 April 15, £8830 May 15, £6776 June 15 , £5857 July 15 £6970 1.3.16

Mavvy you are so good at finding the good stuff :T

Gem-gem, good find, and with birthday money too :)

Polly £38 for a school dress, ouchy ouch ouch  well done for your no spend month :j

I had a little splurge in Ashbourne. Brand new white m & s jeans with label still on saying £29.99 for £4, little light green cardi by Kalico £3 and really lovely White Stuff white cotton fitted shirt which will be good for work for £5. I am thinking I have enough nice things now for summer. Must save some of the budget for a couple of winter woolies.

The dress price is crazy why do the schools do that. I agree on uniform but if you had a couple of girls at the school that is a silly amount of money to charge :(

    Update for June

    I bought some T shirts in June - £24 from M&S.

So I'm on £270 out of £150 budget.

In July I am going to need to replace my shorts as I've lost a stone and a half. That's probably going to be expensive!

Thanks soooooo much fedupandskint for running this thread :T:T
