You are all putting me to shame, not with your thriftiness but all the exercise you are doing. I must get back to yoga (perhaps some new yoga clothes would encourage me?) and bike riding when the weather improves a bit.

I have sold a few more Ebay things, and saved the money cos I'm now in Norfolk, home of the very posh charity shops :rotfl: I think some of my budget might be spent and may be back to confess later in the week :j
Woo hoo Lets hope for the posh items.Like anywhere sometimes loads of nice clothes other times a load of old carp :rotfl:

The way it goes for us chazzer addicts :)

Darn it, replied earlier but internet went down. I don't mind the stores / merchandise as much as the signs and tags which feel like someone constantly yelling in your face about what a good deal everything is. I'm a grown up, I can decide if i want to buy it or not without being metaphorically yelled at by some market stall type trader tag.

I like Mary too, I don't always agree with everything she says but at least she has passion. Though what happened to Kinky Kickers - didn't they go into administration in the end?

Won't pretend that running about a field at 6.30am isn't a struggle at times, but at 6am my head is too fuzzy still to argue with myself not to go :rotfl:

Marys Kinky Knickers are still for sale in House of F but all on sale which makes you wonder.

Shame I had some of the Knickers but tbh they didnt last long as all the little elastic threads in the lace(to make it stretchy) started pulling out and they ended up looking like Hairy Knickers rather than Kinky :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Shame as I love her passion and her humour.

Bundle of sports clothes should be with me later today but courier not known for relability :) So we shall see

Total now £222.50/£360. Bought some things in the charity shop, only half actually fit nicely, but still have one outfit out of it for £6.50.
Spend less now, work less later.

    Update for May

Not doing as well this year as I did last. But I guess my clothes are starting to wear out and there are limits to how low I can get my clothes spending down to.
I bought a much needed jacket - it cost £70 from TK Maxx. The one it replaces is 14 years old and looks it :o

So I'm on £246 out of £150 budget.

I'm not quitting though! However, in June I am going to need to replace some T Shirts. get my eye on some in M & S that are £3 each.

Thanks soooooo much fedupandskint for running this thread :T:T

Hi All - Back from holiday - happy that the sun has followed me home :-) Hope you are all well

Before I went away I bought a pair of gym trousers £14.99 (very envious of your sportswear haul mavvy - what a great find !!) and a sarong £3.99 - which means that I've gone slightly over my annual budget at just short of 6 months into the challenge. As I've said before, I'm not too disappointed as this is my first time doing the challenge and my budget was a guess. All I know is that I've spent WAY less than I would have.

More socks purchased (apparently these have a one year warranty!). So I'm now on £238.48/£360.
