Saturday Went to a CS and bought a Ms long sleeve top for £3. I have one already and I use it a a pj top. Far cheaper than paying £20+ for a pj top.
Today went to an outlet shop and visited Hobbs. Got a skirt reduced from £100 down to £29.00. Also bought 2 x tops reduced from £29 down to £19 each. Another top down from £35 to £23. A jumper from £60 down to £35. And a tunic dress down from £140 down to £70.00. Spent £198 in total this weekend all mainly for work. Most either navy or grey and will go with other items in my wardrobe.
£235.00 for the year. In budget ( had the money saved up) but I need to stop spending now as I do need to save up for the decorators.

Since my splurge (?!) On day 1 of the month on a pair of Birkenstock type copies to let my allergic foot breath, the purse has stayed shut on the clothes front. Foot still not completely healed but on the mend. Not spent more though do am on £13 this month. Planning to be moving in July so am clearing out lots and selling some bits. Downsizing so there will not be room for masses of clothes. I'm rather pleased about that.

Returned my beautiful Desigual dress to eBay for a refund as it became bobbly after 2 wears. Won't replace it so have deducted the amount from my total. I'm now back within budget.

Oh shame about the dress, but good that you are able to return it.

Pollygarter glad your foot is on the mend and well done with clearing out what you don't want anymore.

Mavvymoo the Ghost skirt sounds fab, and all those bras! You are the Queen of Bargain Hunting and I take my hat (bought from a cs, obviously) off to you. :rotfl:

I have some spends to fess up to :)
A White Stuff skirt £4, some purple Fat Face cut offs £4 and a lovely pair of jeans by NW3 (Hobbs). They were £12 from cs but look unworn and are very stylish and fit (jeans that fit, without trying on in about 300 different shops first). :j

Jeans that fit? Bargain ! Well done. As I am pulling things out of drawers and wardrobes to sell or give away to charity shop, am re-finding things I've forgotten about. Feels like I'm spending but I am not. One downside...a friend came round for coffee and spotted a lovely green silk Phase 8 dress I've worn x3 that I had pulled out and was planning on selling...so that went home with her! With my blessing of course! Although it cost £130 I doubt I'd get more than £25 for it. And had sat doing nohing for a year or more. Glad if she will give it an outing! More stuff out.

Bought a couple of Austin Reed shirts - £1 each. Bought them to sell but they fit really well (which surprised me) - very nice for work.

I'm off on holiday tomorrow - have a good week & I will see you in June.
