I've sold 5 more items of clothing on Ebay - things that didn't fit or suit me anymore. Didn't get much for them, but enough to maybe buy one nice thing instead so all good.

No purchases to report, so still within budget. :)

Popping in to report the purchase of two hats for the summer, so my total is now £216/£360.

Am on the home straight now to keeping under my budget for May. It was a bit tough the other day. Why oh why I went for a wander round the department store I do not know. But I looked at some lovely lk Bennett cobalt blue suede sandals (a snip at £180) and an Eileen Fisher dress £240 and an Oska blouse at £200 and thought goodness, I really used to spend this kind of money. Wondered whether to cry at the fact that I no longer can or be relieved. I didn't buy anything

On balance, I am perfectly happy without those things. I won't go and look though. Its like leaving a bottle out for the ex drinker.. Never a good idea!!

Thank you, you have just made me feel better about agonising over a £26 top :) well done for not buying them, in a few months they'll be in some sale (no, that's not encouragement to buy the then :rotfl:) and in a few months they'll be replaced on the racks by something else.

No spends for me, oh actually that's not true, £24 on some cropped joggers and a sports top from TKM, both likely to go back and both really 'cos they're in the clearance sesciton, what I actually came in for they don't have, they're in my size and I want to buy something' purchase. :o

Two items on fleabay have bids on, one that I've relisted several times and nearly gave up on, and one that was a new listing but didn't think would sell as it was a difficult item to photograph. Never count my chickens though until the winner has paid. Auctions end tomorrow

Popping in to fess up ;)

£40 spent I am on a running group on FB where items are for sale and what should come up -But 10 x pairs running leggings all really good makes 10 x pairs 3/4 running shorts and 6x pairs of running shorts

So 26 pairs all either N*ke Adi*as and Asi*cs for £40 including the postage the parcel weighs in at 4kgs  So what a bargain and should sort me out for the next 30 years or 20,0000 miles :rotfl:

So will decide when they arrive what to keep :)

Well done for your sales and non spends I am proud of you all :)

I am most envious of your haul mav I'd love that much new stuff for the gym / running. Need some summer leggings, shorts, new tops ATM. I don't really like shopping for sports stuff though.

I kept under the £50 for May! Really pleased and thank you all you lovely frugal-threadistas. The knowledge I'd made my pledge has helped and I brought in a big debt reduction this month on my diary partly down to you lot. Gem-gem says it will get easier. Hope so! All the best x

    Now to start another month.

Dont be envious yet kerri it maybe rubbish  But I thought even if I got a few nice bits out of it I would be happy as my last pair of leggings cost an eye watering £33  I hate shopping for gym stuff as well kerri as unless you buy really good brands its always a bit of a let down :( I have a lot of A*da stuff at the moment and TBH its been really good but its been washed so much the elastic is starting to stretch and I spend my whole time pulling them up and NO I havent lost any weight ;)

I have found that I wear gym stuff more than any item in my wardrobe so its got to be worth a punt ! hasnt it ?

The lady is selling as its too short for her (she is 5'9" ) and I am 5'6" so she said it should be fine for me but I will have to see.So watch this space I will update :)
