We had a Nike Outlet open near us last year Mav so I have some leggings, a running jacket and a thermal jacket from there. As I do boot camp twice a week, plus was training for a 1/2m at the time, they were all investments (back out running now too). I have a kyodan top from TK Maxx too which has worn / washed really well.
We've got a big Sports Direct nearby but it really annoys me that so much is up high out of reach, then you have to find someone to get it down for you, they get huffy when you say you don't want it, or end up being made to feel like a criminal should you DARE to suggest you want to try it on.
I also need stuff for pole class which is a whole other set of gym kit, and somewhat diff requirements.
In fact, I must sort through my gym pile - I've got tops in there I was going to chuck over a year ago.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I also hate sports direct kerri  I hate the pricing RRP £30000 now only £2.50 that type of thing :rotfl:I also hate everything being so high that you cant see it. Yep I wouldnt even bother asking for them to get anything down.Last time we were in there we couldnt get anyone to help us.So we just found the pole thingy with the hooky thing on and did it ourselves :rotfl:Got loads and loads and loads down and didnt buy a thing and just left it down. I quite enjoyed that trip :T I saw the programme about them on TV and hate them even more now.
The best sports shop near us is Sweatshop and they have some lovely things but are not cheap ! But rumour has it our old favorite Sports Direct is buying them out !
So I hope this stuff from FB is good then wont have to shop for sports stuff for ages as I have plenty of tops etc. I also do a bootcamp twice a week but wear what ever I can find to that :rotfl:

May is the 4th month in a row I've bought nothing - just the much needed trainers in January that stop it being nothing at all for the year-to-date..
Did find myself wandering in to the sales racks in a trolley park at a local Asd@ about 11 days ago, but I'd barely flicked through half a dozen items before I suddenly caught myself asking myself 'Why?', as I knew I didn't need anything. Do I promply abandonded the rails and headed into the store for the few food items I'd headed that way to get
Stil not sure if I'm going to get into anything decent I already own for a wedding at the end of August (weight loss hasn't been going well), so I need to try some things on this month. If I can't find anything in my wardrobe I shall have to spend, but hopefully I'll have enough time to make a considered purchase instead of doing my normal 'buy because it fits' panic (and even have time to scour charity shops in a few local towns before I hit the big chain stores).Cheryl0 -
You are all putting me to shame, not with your thriftiness but all the exercise you are doing. I must get back to yoga (perhaps some new yoga clothes would encourage me?) and bike riding when the weather improves a bit.
I have sold a few more Ebay things, and saved the money cos I'm now in Norfolk, home of the very posh charity shops :rotfl: I think some of my budget might be spent and may be back to confess later in the week :jCrazy clothes challenge 2017 - 30/3000 -

I've never been into Sweatshop although we do have one nearby. Never thought about the reach thing myself, I'd prob end il accidentally poking someone's eye out :rotfl: and yeas, everything is a bargain, even all the own brand stuff that is not sold anywhere else so couldn't possibly be reduced from the price advertised. Still it's like with all sale stuff, never mind the price it was, is the price it is now worth it is the main question.
Back at boot camp this morning, but of a shock to the system - and that was just being up at 6am  weighted myself tonight though and think I've put on a little bit during the break so need to get back into training.
Sold 4 items on fleabay last night, nothing to set the world alight, althogih one item is going all the way to NZ. 4 less items to clear out.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

A no spend month for me in May
Well done all no spenders for May.
6 months in now almost halfway there!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Not a no spend in May as I have had some brilliant finds in the local chazza shops; Fatface dress, superdry t-shirt, joules sweatshirt, black maxi dress (age 13 but it fits) all with tags on plus a work skirt total £30.
Running total for year is £240. So 2/3 of budget gone in 5 months.
Well done no spenders.
Must try for a no spend month myself and stick with needs not wants for a while:cool:0
