Oh dear, I have blown my budget already.
Today I bought a sweatshirt and some trainers. together they came to £170. Last week I bought a pair of trainers from eBay and a pair of shoes which came to £61.
If I can limit the amount I spend for the rest of the year, it might be OK, but I'm not hopeful

Mavvymoo you are so good at finding bargains - I so want to hit the cs shops white you when I come to Norfolk :rotfl:
I bought some black trousers for £4 in cs yesterday - nothing special, but looked like new and will go with lots of tops & jackets for new job.
I also bought 3 pairs of beautiful linen Jaeger trousers off Ebay for £15. Great fit but unfortunately too short. Will give daughter the black ones but do you think I could make cut off trousers from the navy and the white ones? Any advice welcome.

Funny Rowan Moon as that is really all I need Black well cut tailored trousers and do you think I can find any nope not anywhere
If you message me and let me know where you are staying when you come here for your few days. If its one of my hunting grounds I will let you know where to look for bargains
Shame about the linen trousers I always have that problem and yes I have had a couple of good pairs taken up and they looked really good. I am lucky as DH aunt does alterations for a living and she is brilliant
But I am sure they cant be too hard to do.
I have got hold of a great bargain but not one I have to confess here. 2 Nearly new Laura Ashley sofas 18 months old and never really sat on as it was a holiday home used for 3 weeks a year !. Showed me the invoice £3400 :eek: For £160 :eek: and the man is going to deliver :eek: They are coming tommorow afternoon woo hoo so excited. As mine are looking are looking tired and a bit tatty,

Darn, no vodka to hand, I have white rum, wonder if that will do?
it's so feint i missed it when i checked it over in the shop, and only noticed when I ran the iron over it tonight, but now I know it's there.... Funny thing is, it says dry clean only, but I thought linen was a hardy fabric? Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Just found some Dr Beckmans under the sink, put some over the stain and will leave it overnight. Failing that, might dye it.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
