Ok I need someone to lock me in a room with no internet access
I'm having palpitations because I've just spent more on an ebay item than ever before. £55 on a new Karen Millen aqua coloured jacket. I am imagining it will go with lots of things I already have (hoping). I am probably kidding myself here but am not counting it in my budget because it is out of the money I have from the things I sold.
Also the padded cycling knickers arrived this morning and oh what can I say, I'm certainly not bringing sexy back with these  But as I'm still feeling the affects of my Saturday bike ride I am going to give them a go.Crazy clothes challenge 2017 - 30/3000 -

Trust me you will need them!! Even WITH the knickers I still get a sore backside if I cycle too much.
Also - I LOVE Bakewell for charity shopsthe main reason I go there to be honest (and fish & chips by the river with nosy dogs and ducks).
My birthday is coming up and I am absolutely steeling myself not to buy any clothes with the cash (except for my aforementioned 'essentials')

Im really lucky because i live in between Bakewell and Ashbourne and both are lovely. And oh yes, the fish and chips are really good in Bakewell.
koselurif you are not buying clothes, what are you fancying buying with your birthday cash?Crazy clothes challenge 2017 - 30/3000 -
Rowan Moon what a lovely spot to live...
Not sure about the birthday cash to be honest! With my new 'needs not wants' mentality I think I'm going to find it hard to splash on anything!
I broke the chain of my favourite necklace so I will replace that but other than that I'm really not sure.
Current plan is to squirrel it away until I can figure out something good to do with it :cool:LBM - 3rd March 2015 - [STRIKE]£3604[/STRIKE] £0

GemGem So impressed that you are still haven't spent anything!
Debbiedeejay Charity Shops variable here too (South London) with BHF standing out as most expensive (can't remember the last time I bought from there). The ones I buy from mostly sell at around £3.50 an item and most have a pound rail. There was one that used to have a whole shop with £1 stuff - I loved it - got some amazing bargains there. It closed down a while ago though :-(. Lovely Cat Protection League shop near me does paperbacks 20p each & (I think) 8 for £1.00 . £2.00 is over the top for a paperback.Shifting my energy for 20200 -

HOW do you manage to pick out such good stuff for fleabay? I have some named things to put on and none ever seem to sell or get decent bids.
I do my reasearch Kerri to see whats making money what styles colours etc. are selling and getting the most bids.
So when you buy to sell its not like stuff you have got yourself and havent got a choice.
If you have any bright bold florals hanging about in any type of dress or maxi skirts.Get them on they are making money the brighter the better !
Also good quality leather flat leather ballet style pumps in any colour than Black or Brown they are selling well too and always do for me anyway.
The shoes I got for £1.50 are also up to £16 so the 4 items I got for £10 in total are already up to £49.60 with a day to go.
Good photos are a must at least 10 from different angles and all the measurments in inches and cms. Always start at a decent price I never start below about £5.50 for anything.
But the main thing is if you are selling your own stuff you dont have a choice as what you can list so it really is a different ball game.
Good luck and I hope your items sell well

Edit to say this all started on the make £10 a day thread a couple of years ago when someone challenged us to buy an item and sell it and you had to double your money.I found if I did my homework I could always more than double it. But you have got to have the time to trawl around and find something which is the hard part !
