The Completely Crazy 2015 Clothes Challenge

debbie You rarely find any clothes in CS in this area for under a couple of £. More likely £3.75+ for everything. I even got my niece a kids coat in one last summer and I'm sure that was £2 - £2.50. I must say I don't go in them often for myself, firstly I find them expensive for what's in there (esp when compared to some of items I've sold at car boots which were much better quality for less) and I rarely find anything I like or in my size.
Well, confession time on here for me, even though I'm not officially doing the challenge this year. Went shopping with OH today picked up a lovely top, pair of sandals and sports shorts in Primarni - then saw the queue was literally half way up the shop and growing so they all got ditched. Did get a nice jumper in Hollister for 50% off though.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Evening
I have just bought 3 tops on ebay. All brand new. One Next, one warehouse and one Oasis. After taking the rest of the nectar point voucher off of the total price, and including postage the total came to £16.02.
I will update my total shortly.

Morning all
On the Charity shop prices debateAround here they really do vary BHF mega money £20 for a pair of pretty worn decent make shoes

All the others are reasonable price wise and you can pick up amazing bargains.Due to this challenge I am lot more picky now and will always try things on and think about it carefully.
I am going to town today where the charity shops are very good prices so wish me luck think I may need it
On the spending front I have to declare a new swimming costume as I only have one and am now swimming 3 times a week so £11.99 Ebay purchase for one the same as I have already got in a different colour so I know I will wear it
Will report back later and let you know whats about in the Chazzer shops :rotfl:
Good luck

Great bargains Mavvy..
The charity shop I use most is reasonably priced and there is always a £1 rail too. I find the 0xfam shop the dearest although it does only seem to stock designer names. A jumper I bought there in the autumn has had lots of wear.
I tried out the leggings look again the other day and got a compliment so will keep at this new look. Will buy some more.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Wow Mavvy I have charity shop envy
where do you live? Your charity shops have some fab stuff, well done. Don't know that I could have walked away from the Hobbs and Phase Eight stuff though.
Kerri I thought about dying the pink mac but I had a go at dying some trousers earlier this year and it was a disaster. Also, not many choices in colour available, so the mac went back on Ebay. It has just sold for what I paid for it ( so I'm a bit down with Ebay fees, but the colour really did nothing for me).
It seems most folks have had a little spend. I went to town on Tuesday armed with birthday money and determined to get so something nice to wear for my interview. All I got was a blister for shopping in my new shoes  Anyway, weather was lovely yesterday so was able to wear a dress and spring jacket to interview.
Sold 10 more things so that's good.Crazy clothes challenge 2017 - 30/3000 -

I live in a lovely part of the world North NorfolkI think a lot of people move here and find they dont need their posh Hobbs Phase eight etc clothes and just donate them.If anyone comes on holiday here I would be happy to give you a list of fab charity shops to visit (make sure you have a spare day or so ):rotfl:
The bootsales here are also great and are just starting up again which is bad news for me really as I always find some fab bargains.
One of my best buys was a Michael Korrs leather biker jacket for a £1 and I love it so much.
Good luck on your interview and yes the weather was lovely here as well and I sat and had a latte overlooking the sea inbetween chazzer shopping
Today is clothes sorting day and getting ready to start listing on the Bay and F*cebook. As you Rowan Moon put me to shame also going to get all my summer stuff down from the loft  Still havent been though the bin bags of stuff to see if I want anything :rotfl:So think I will bundle that and see if I can sell it that way. Wish me luck on this a normally get bored and do something else instead.
Good luck to all

Went into Oxfam this morning - they wanted £2 for a paperback. Didn't want to pay that much.
Went into the Salvation Army CS and found a lovely navy blue Bertebex fine material skirt for £4.00. A great find for work. If hubby was not with me would have spent longer looking for more hidden bargains.
First spend on clothes for the year. £4/£6002025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Our local CS is quite pricey too, have spotted Primarni tops on sale there for more than in Primarni shop for new! Tend to have quite good selection though.
Am doing well so far. Shopping trip with DD and didn't buy any thing for me. Also resisted a pair of PJ shorts in Lidl this morning (already have 3 pairs).
Hopefully low spend days for me today/tomorrow. Kids have their friends coming over - plan to throw them outside with water pistols. Enjoy the sunshine everyone.Crazy clothes challenge 140/1800 -

I 100% agree!! Don't live in Norfolk myself but have been there lots on holiday (stepmum is from Norwich) and the charity shops are INCREDIBLE. Have picked up loads of stuff which has seen a lot of wear.
Also hello! I would like to join this as I have a terrible clothes buying habit (don't spend a lot of money but chazzers and H&M are a real weakness...). Have just cleared out about HALF my clothes and can finally (just about) fit them in my wardrobe & drawers. Will be listing a lot on fleabay this weekend but most have gone to chazzer or bin.
Have noticed a few gaps that need to be filled since I got rid of all the crap & tatty stuff (decent pair of sandals, plain black/grey tailored trousers, leggings, bras etc) but really I should not need to buy much else this year. Maybe some outdoorsy stuff as I am going to Scotland in the summer.
When I was a student I used to ban myself from buying clothes and can easily make it for months without even looking in the shops - need to find this willpower again!
With 9 months left this year I would like to join for £180 please.LBM - 3rd March 2015 - [STRIKE]£3604[/STRIKE] £0
