Welcome Scattyspice :j
I've updated my signature to include the top I bought (phase eight, lovely blue colour) from cs for £4.50 and the Boden trousers I bought today from cs today for £8.
That's one third of my budget gone, but that's ok because I got rid of bags and bags of stuff and have put 10 more things on Ebay so had to replace some stuff.
Mavymoo have all the malteser bunnies gone? If they have you'd better restock for EasterCrazy clothes challenge 2017 - 30/3000 -
Another month with no clothing spends for me - so that's 3 months of the year down, with just an essential purchase of a pair of 'general use / knocking around' trainers. Really pleased with myself, as I'm not ever looking at sale rails in supermarkets or glancing at stock in charity shops (in my local one you have to walk through the clothing to get to toys, books and records)Cheryl0

The top and trousers sound lovely and such bargain you just had to get them.
The bunnies are still intact :)But the tub of Ben & Jerrys bit the dust sadly
I happened to be passing an old fashioned jumble sale  Today and everything was 20pSo picked up 4 tops and a pair of trousers for a £1 coin :rotfl: 3 items I like and 2 i am not sure of but dont care really for 20p each and I didnt have the guts to ask to try them on
So they have all been washed and I will try them on tommorow and let you know if I got a bargain or wasted a pound.

Crazy Clothes challenge £300/£48 and 5 months /0 without spending :T0 -
Mavymoo wow I am impressed by your bargain buys. Even if you only like one of them, that's still not bad for £1. I haven't seen a jumble sale for years.Crazy clothes challenge 2017 - 30/3000

Hi All
I am declaring March as a no clothes spend month.
Spend £1 today on some Adidas shorts from the CS pound rail. Thought I'd done well until I read Mavvymoo's post :-DShifting my energy for 20200 -
Ahh jumble sales, I clothed myself almost entirely from jumble sales in my teen years
.
Went into town with DS today, withdrew my entire clothing budget and put in a seperate purse. Managed not to buy any clothes for me. Did manage to convince DS to replace a shirt, jacket and pair of shorts (he hates new clothes) - all denim and all with plenty of growth room so that he won't have to endure new clothes again for a while
I need to get up in the loft as hopefully I have stashed some summer clothes up there (unless they all got decluttered in my end of summer tidying fit). I wanted to wear a white top today (as is sunny) but my flesh coloured vest which goes under it is in the wash, hopefully have more vests in loft (as only black/grey in my draw) otherwise will have to break into my clothes budget to buy some
I guess a capsule wardrobe only works if you keep ontop of your laundryCrazy clothes challenge 140/1800 -
Evening all... Sorting out just how many items I have left
...I have sold another 19 or maybe 22 since I last posted ! mavy moo hats off to you!
£1 shorts sound amazing price to me - somerandom
I reckon I am at around 45 clothes now for capsule ?? will update later ...that does not include coats ( my bloomin weakness ) or shoes ..or bags ..but tailored handbags down to 4 very expensive onesand a jute one for CS shopping so the old volunteer feels sorry for me and gives me a deal ...ha ha
My charities are dripping with designer goods ...I really do have to stop myself from being such a sucker ...its just the quality is so good .
Have I missed easter or what ...no one seems to be very enthusiastic these days ...ahhh how I used to save my money and get those half price eggs as a kid...not because I was savy more because I could get two or three for the price of one ...
Love to all Have a wonderful Easter ... ...Grocery challenge Feb £107/£100-epic fail due to cake and biscuits

Expensive month.
Bought 2 pairs of much needed jeans cost £38.
I also bought 3 (lovely) shirts cost £88. I do really love them and I will wear them to death.
So I'm on £126 out of £150 budget.
I'm still think it's possible for me to make my target.
£126/£150 for the year so far.
Thanks soooooo much fedupandskint for running this thread :T:TTurn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you.0 -
