Two more days to go... Not planning on going near the shops tomorrow or Saturday so I can declare my first month as a no clothes spend. Yipee!

Happy Birthday for tomorrow Sarah. Hope you have a good birthday.

So another spend for me. I've decided I'm not including shoes in this challenge as long ad the purchase is a need rather than a want. I replaced my running trainers as the pair I had were very old and making my knees hurt. Had my gait analysed and I needed arch support so invested in new ones, the difference on my first run was significant.

I also purchased a very thin wind proof jacket £15 in the sale. I did buy a top and trousers but took those back!

Hoping for a less spendy February!

Proud to say still zero spend here on clothes and won't be going shopping tomorrow so my annual budget is still intact :T

Not been on here for a while but well done everyone, keep up the good work, and Happy Birthday to Sarah x

Right dress return and repurchase (to get money off) = £12.99
And pjs bought from primark... they were in the sale and match my sheets... that fact made me happy... so =£3.

1 month in and £15.99 gone... so £59.01 left
Most of which I am aiming to save for a dress for my friends wedding, and waiting to buy because I plan to be at least a dress size smaller by then. I've lost 6lbs since Christmas, which isn't much I know, but I've just started exercising, so that should be getting sorted... x

I've spent £16.99 in January -after the 2nd week of the challenge it felt pretty easy not to spend on clothes. I've also been decluttering (Marie Kondo style) and have got rid of 6 bags of clothes to the CS. I've still got plenty left but I'm beginning to feel more in control especially in Charity Shops.

Pixtotts - 6lb is a great amount of weight to have lost since Christmas. You should be really proud of your achievement. I know from experience that it's more likely to stay off if you lose it steadily. Well Done You :-)

Morning all. No spends for me in January but today I am going out and may buy those socks I so desperately need.

My only spend in January was on the trainers I'd put on my allowable list (and which were becoming a critical need). My feet have been much happier wandering around the local town and a retail park since then, and I've put my older ones to one side for cycling (my new ones are too 'clunky' for that).

As of yet I don't critically need anything else, so unless I happen across a pair of waterproof trousers that fit me properly I'm hopeful that at least the next two months will see zero spends on clothing :)
