    Now I'm well confused!

According to my book you can have 200g new potatoes with their skin as a HEB on Red, so I thought I could use a HEB on SP?

Sorry SP isn't like red days, unfortunately the only HEB's you can have are the ones that are in the new books, these don't include pasta/rice/potatoes

Consultants obviously have been updated on the plan, but its not til its rolled out to the public that queries come up and it seems like its down to members to sort it out amongst themselves, as noone seems to have a categorical opinion (conflicting information is being given out, when you ring the helpline)

I think the consultants tried out the plans a few months ago - I know ours did and she lost 6lb - so I don't know why they haven't had the same problems/raised the same questions.

Maybe they got better instructions on how to do it.. or maybe they followed the plan to the letter so didn't need to ask about yogurt etc
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

Can anyone tell me the syns in a Barillo 'basilico' tomato pasta sauce please?

Also, I have a greek yogurt with honey here, one pot is 213 calories, so would it be about 10 syns?

I'm sorry but syns on line isn't recognising Barilla. I know people estimate 25 calories to 1 syn but I've never done it myself.

meg, I think that the canned chilli probably is 1 syn. The Smart Price ravioli is 1.5 and the Bolognese is 2.5 and they've probably all got the same basic sauce as a base.

:j That's so brilliant Daisy!! Well done you! :T

I'm also not doing SP, as it's my first "real" week on plan now... I joined before Christmas to keep myself mindful and not go mad over the holidays, but still had a lot of things to use up.

I think SP would frighten me off. I'm finding it incredible that I have any control at all, and am delighted to be losing weight even though I'm going over on syns most of the time.

I know I couldn't do SP for more than a day, and even that would be very hard for me to do.

As long as EE is working for me, it's all good!

    Hi all

    Some great losses going on.

Seems to be a lot of confusion about EESP and I think it will take a few weeks for the glitches to be worked out. That's what's so great about this thread that there are people to bounce thoughts of instead of having to wait a week to go back to class and by that time you would probably have forgotten some of the questions.

    Menu for today is/was

breakfast - belvita (3 syns) - grab and go
    snack - satsuma and apple
lunch ham sandwich (HEb) - again a grab and go
dinner - diet coke chicken, rice (sugar snap peas, red and yellow pepper, onions, tomatoes etc in this so SF on the side)
pudd - forest fruits with fat free yoghurt

HEA was milk for coffee throughout the day
syns - belvita and wine - to be quantified later:rotfl:

    Have a lovely evening all.
  • Well done Daisy you must be well and truly chuffed. :T
