    GOOD MORRRRRRRRRRNIIIIIIIIIIIIIINGGGG!!!!!!!:j:j :j

Soooo, bookee flights for september for little bros wedding (god i feel old!!) So crunch time really is on. I WILL be at the very least a 12-14 by then, if not at my target. Determined!

Sooooo its the weekend and ive to have dinner at the parents tonight which means ill have to mega charge the SP stuff arount it for damage limitation, because i reckon if i really really knuckle down i could achieve my first invisible shiney by monday (i lost a huge amount the first week i actually went to group and then it evened out a few weeks later - im assuming it was cuz it was a shock to the system though).... when i took a sneaky peak the other day i was almost half way there :D:p:D

    Plan today:

B- 1x boiled egg in a cup, melon, apple, orange salad
L - speed soup (tomatoes, pasatta, chopped toms, handful of red lentils, stock, chili flakes)
    D - ??? (I have a feeling it might be spaghetti though :( )
    Snacks - apple, melon, clementines
Syns - (will edit later when dinner comes round)
    HEA -
    HEB -

Q - assuming it is spaghetti, is there anything i can do to keep today an EESP day? I was trying to do a week to boost my loss to the max for the first week

    Em x
I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know

If you want to add pasta to an SP day, then use fresh pasta that you can syn

You cant have dried pasta on an SP day as it then reverts back to EE

crabapple, so pleased your ring arrived. Maybe you could plan a little ceremony party for when you've reached target. I lost weight on my fingers too. I was delighted as my wedding ring was getting tight and uncomfortable and I didn't want to change it as it's my grandmother's.

Crabapple - not to say this is what you should have done, but when I lost weight my rings were too big so I had them made smaller. Now the weight is back on again and I struggle to get them on and off. [/QUOTE]

I know it's not my original ring but I have that put away safe. I think I will try and get our priest to bless it at some point. Feels like I'm married again!! I didn't consider getting it made smaller because my taste in jewellery is very simple and it's only a sterling silver band. Any work done to it would cost way more than it cost to buy a new ring. I think, counting hubby's (the same), we have now spent just under £55 on wedding bands :rotfl:

Having attempted eesp for a couple of days I rally think sticking to what I normally do is the way forward. I guess I may have the odd eesp day more by accident than design but it cuts out too many things I want.

However, I am taking one thing from it and trying not to eat pasta/rice/potatoes twice in one day. My lunch is always a smaller meal but I often have rice and then am having pasta/potatoes with dinner. So I'm attempting to cut that down as much as possible since two lots of those 'free' foods can't be helping weight loss.

I'm hungry but holding off on having my branflakes as I don't want to be too hungry when I go to Pizza Hut!

    Morning all

I think I managed an EESP day yesterday - and it was probably low enough in calories to qualify for 5:2. Skipped breakfast and had ham salad for lunch - not really sure if there was enough ham to be 50%, I should have had a hard boiled egg. Dinner was salmon fillet with new potatoes (HEB), broccoli and peas. Had cheese (HEA) and an apple for supper and 2 small G&Ts (5 syns).

Looking at it now I don't think it was quite there, I missed out on an HEB but I'm pleased to have had a low calorie day. Really need to kickstart this year if I'm going to get anywhere near my target by 1st March.

CP - what do you do? I thought you might work in a school kitchen but you start too late for that.

Fluff I didn't think you could have spaghetti on EESP unless it's of the spiralized vegetable variety? Or maybe you could syn it?

Welcome to the latest new people.

    Have a great weekend everybody!

  • Thanks for clarifying ladies, i guess ill wait to see whats for tea and just EESP around that as much as i can for damage limitation. Though i suspect today will probably end up being an EE day depending on dinner

Fluff, I do like the bit in your sig about bmi :D

It does all feel a bit arbitrary sometimes. I'd really like to be considered a healthy bmi though (set target into that range but still currently overweight) just so I don't get told about it every time I go to the doctors! Last time I had an ear infection...

  • Hahaha!! crabapple its true though. Even at a 'off the peg' 12, they still told me i was overweight lol!! They went by my bmi rather than actual measurements lol! I found it hilarious though because my bmi was always 30 from the age of 16 until i started SW in the first place (and i wasnt a fat 16yr old to look at lol, but i obviously didnt have a lot of muscle mass)

There has only been two drs at my local clinic that even at my worst actually said i was fine for my height (and one of those worked in the hospital too so ive more belief in her than the rest of them lol!)

I couldnt give a fiddlers what i weigh or what my bmi is, as long as im happy myself... yes i know i should, and it would be nice to be in the 'nomal' range, but lifes too short. If i get to a 12 or below and i want cake, well cake i will have lol! Regardless of what any quack says lol!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
