  • Right.... My day today didn't go as planned. Got called into work 2 hours early. Wasn't prepared for it. So ruined my day by not resisting temptation at work! Ate a childs pizza (21 syns) and half a chocolate brownie (8 syns). So yep. I am gutted and angry with myself :(:o

On the plus side, I ate have the brownie then said "what the hell am I doing?" and threw it away (never done that before!). I also made it to the gym today and did 15 minutes on crosstrainer and 15 minutes on the bike. (I can't do too much due to health conditions). I also walked to Tesco after work and did a bit shopping, along with being on my feet all afternoon/night at work.

I'm thinking about adding up my syns I've had for the full week so far (I think its about 70 now but will double check my tracker sheet) then just be very careful with them over the next few days. I'm working tomorrow, but don't get a break so I won't be tempted (thats when I eat), I'm off on Sunday and have invited the family round for Sunday lunch (got a bargain turkey crown) so I think I MIGHT be able to save myself. Especially if I can fit in a little but of exercise :o

All I can do is try and be more prepared when it comes to work.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. I'll be back to update at some point!

Tomorrows menu is possibly gonna be:

Breakfast: Bacon, Beans, Egg, Toast (HEB)
Lunch: Large jacket potato with beans and 30g cheese (HEA)
Supper (working till 4-9) Ham sandwich (4.5 syns for bread)

Snacks will all be fruit. Apple, grapes and some strawberries I have hidden for myself :rotfl:

Plan on having a late breakfast/brunch, followed by lunch around 3 so I'm full for work to get me through my shift and then a sandwich at 9pm with some fruit (I can't sleep on an empty stomach)

Pizza was an absolute waste tonight. Didn't even fill me up so have had 2 satsumas since getting in from work and shopping to try and satisfy my appetite! (Makes a change from takeway or crisps sandwiches!!)

Anyway, sorry, I've rambled on! Have a good weekend all!

  • Welcome aboard Doris and angel

Well done on the latest losses folks. :T

We bought six tins of the HB butter beans maman yesterday and noticed their chickpeas were a good price too.

Supper tonight was a sarnie made with beetroot and feta.

One of the half price offers and Lidl this weekend is the low fat cheddar (about 90p for 350g I think). Oh yes and red onions are half price and the red peppers are 39p each.

Maman I have been reading on here about the new program
Will it be any use to me or am I better doing green with the odd EE day.
I know you will put me right regarding which one to follow. I think I have grasped EE and the Green days, it might be confusing if I try something new.
Anyway, I will need it explaining if I try it won't I lol :D:p

I do the 105 syns weekly syn bank rather than 15 a day. I plan to have very few syns during the week and then use them up at the weekend (mainly on wine syns:o). That's not the official SW way but it works for me. Some people prefer daily treats but I'd rather save them up as I prefer to look forward to weekends.

Can't remember who mentioned banana sandwiches, but one of my favourites is a combination of peanut butter, banana and honey. Goodness knows how many calories it would be, but it's gorgeous!!

    Back tomorrow.

    LL :)

I used to enjoy peanut butter and syrup on a Ryvita. Great mix of sweet and sour and crunchy but its not something I miss just a distant memory (fortunately;)).

Can you tell I am happy? I tried the EESP plan this week and have done lots of exercise too.

Congratulations to all the people who have lost weight :D

That's brilliant rummer, you must be absolutely delighted. How have you found EESP? Remember it's not meant to be a total healthy eating plan just a 'quick fix'. Don't go without carbs if you miss them. Try EE and that should give you a steady 1.5 pounds a week loss and you can revert to SP if you need a boost.

:T to you too gbatey and all other losers.

I think maybe you're better sticking with what you're doing.

The 'new' EE is the same as the old one except that a few fruits are now just free not SF (or S (Speed) as they call them now). So blueberries for example, while they're still good for you, aren't SF (Speed) any more. Others gone from the list are bananas, pineapple, kiwis and grapes. They're still healthy and free but don't count as SF (now Speed).

I think you'd find the Extra Easy SP 'booster' plan really hard for a full day/week as you have to have half of your plate of veg/fruit from the Speed list and no carbs like potatoes. As you like so few veg (although you're improving all the time:D) you could try a few EESP meals like meat and pickles and then have your syns or HEXs to fill you up. When you have your soups (like lentil (Protein) and veg (Speed)) that's EE anyway so you're making a start. Whatever you do, you mustn't starve yourself.:A

I've had yummy savoury mince tonight to tazzy's recipe. Where are you??
