    Hi Everyone

    Can I join in please

Have been lurking on this thread for about 3 months, I've been going to group since May 2014, it lapsed during December due to work commitments, I was at target and am returning next week, and I know I've put on over Christmas and New Year, and need some extra motivation.

You all seem such a friendly supportive Bunch.

    Thanks

Going to face the gym now : (. I need to get back into it and stop moaning. If I post it here it means I have to do it !

I have promised myself a nicer bubbler bath and bit of pampering later if I go.

Up early in the morning and back for more Cardio. Meeting a friend for lunch and going to have a tuna salad or tuna spud.

Tomorrow is operation clean and gut out!

    Pasta n sauce on toast?
I have the occasional pasta n sauce and just have it straight up :/ does the toast add anything? (I'm a frugal hexb user though) I have seen pasta n sauce on jacket spud on a sw fb group and thought that was bizarre pasta on a spud :/ carb overload :s

I thought it was nice, and the beauty of SW, if it's free you can have it. The pasta n sauce was free and I had a heb to use. I don't normally eat the pasta n sauces but I won the raffle last night and because the slimmer of the week had left the consultant threw in the basket of food everyone bought. I was cold and hungry

That's a huge difference in syns for such similar things - you don't think its a typo and should really be 10?

    LL

    More losses reported. That's brilliant!:T
Our consultant suggested that we don't need a third of our plate to be free, we can boost the protein and superfree for quicker weight loss. So I'm going to start doing that in set meals I think.

So if I read that correctly she's advising turning a EE meal into a SP meal (meat, veg, carbs=EE, meat, veg= SP). I've been doing that all this week whenever I can, managed a whole day yesterday. I'm passing on the extra HEB and just having occasional meals. I'm at target and I'd prefer to have extra syns than extra HEXs which is the official SW way.;) As I know I'm out for meals twice this week, I thought I'd have as much SP as I can to balance it off. Thanks for posting the menu ideas everyone. I'm enjoying the challenge of making satisfying food without carbs as an experiment.

I've always eaten maximum syns (105 a week) or if I didn't it was a mistake. I reckoned I could cut back a bit if I ever needed to but fortunately it never happened although it did take weeks to lose the last couple of pounds.

Sorry to hear you're feeling stressed shortie, but I'm sure you'll feel better if you stick to plan. Comfort eating can feel good at the time but afterwards I always feel worse.

FE, great plan to spend time at the weekend er...planning! I always thing you do far better when you're organised.

I couldn't believe how many people were there last night and so many returnees! Didn't like all the whispers though theres that girl etc Kind of did me good, gave me a little kick up the backside as such reminded me of how far I've come and how I definitely don't want to go backwards.
Such a shame that you've got such b*tchy people at your group. I'm sure it's all jealousy. Good luck with your saintly weekend.:A
Lunch will be either a tin of sketti !
    :rotfl:
That made me laugh as it's where I come from or more correctly Sketty or Sgetti.

crabapple, so pleased your ring arrived. Maybe you could plan a little ceremony party for when you've reached target. I lost weight on my fingers too. I was delighted as my wedding ring was getting tight and uncomfortable and I didn't want to change it as it's my grandmother's.

Enjoy your dancing tonight mim. My class started back on Monday and it was great to get that BM going again.

Went to Home Bargains today (saddo that I am but it's new to us) and they have butter beans at 3 tins for £1 and chopped tomatoes at 4 for £1. Butter beans are a real bargain.

    Today's menu:
B: NAS Ribena, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: ham, fried veg (all S or P), beetroot
D: savoury mince, new potatoes, peas, cabbage
Syns: scrape of spread, weekend wine:j
I reckon my breakfast and lunch together are EESP
