I haven't had time to read everything and I'm about to go out, but I've had a good day:
Porridge for breakfast, prawn stir fry for lunch and this evening I've had cottage pie with lots of veg. I haven't had any sync yet so when I get back I might have a little snack.

I've really not felt hungry or tempted all day, so I'm feeling very positive.
    Trying to keep in budget.

Well done kazzaw, lushlifesaver, repeatoffender, SallyCinnamon, bay-tree-cottage and retiredlady. :j

Haven’t tried the sprout sandwich, but I think I’d like it! Corned beef has to be on a roll with plenty of butter and nothing else! So I’ve not had that in a while, lol.

Thanks for the chilli soup recipe, meg.

Lush, if it can’t be posted on here, would you pm me the name of the fb group, please?

Mildredd, I might give that sandwich a go! I’ll need to buy salad cream tho – don’t think mayo would work.

Welcome to our big party, lankielass.

Well still doing ok, I think. I’m sticking with old EE plan values too. I’m aware that at the moment I seem to be having less veg than I should be, although I am having plenty of fruit. That’s probably not the best.

    Anyway, Thursday’s menu

Breakfast: hexb French toast, berries & banana, maple syrup 1 syn)
Lunch: Batchelor’s broccoli & cheese pasta ‘n’sauce (used 50ml of hexa milk), beetroot, 2 clementines
Snack: spiced pear muffin (last one – but there are still hm mince pies )
Dinner: chicken curry & rice, Onken ff strawberry yogurt with strawberries
Snack: 1 ryvita original (1½ syns) + rest of hexa (about 25g) Cheddar, tomatoes

    Total: 2½ syns, plus muffin.

    Good luck everyone.

Thank you maman so its chilli bean soup.

I am shopping at Tesco so presume value chilli con carne will be ok to use in the recipe ? If not I will have to nip Asda another day.

Hi tweets just looked up Tesco chilli con carne and there is a 400g can (dont think its value range) and that is 10 syns. There is also Everyday Value chilli con carne sauce 440g jar and that is 12 syns. Compared to Asda's smart price chilli con carne (1syn for 392g) they seem a bit heavy on the syns. Hth

    :D:D:D lost 2.5lbs!! since 27th December :D:D:D

Well pleased, can you tell :rotfl: that means i'm back down to my pre-xmas weight so I can just continue like Xmas/New Year weeks didn't happen. I didn't properly weigh last week but i'd put on 5 lbs, so technically i've lost 7.5lbs this week :j but i'll go with my SW recorded losses.

well done on all the losses and awards :T:T

FE - I tried filling in the diary online but as I usually split my hea and syns I don't find it very helpful. I did email my suggestions to them to be able to put in fractions of items like 10g of cheese instead of having to put in the full 6 syns. I do prefer the new Syns Online though, much easier to find stuff.

lantanna - hope you did ok at weigh in..

joedenise - thanks for the dauphinoise review, I like to make a butternut squash one so i'll definitely try the cornflour thing.

welcome lankielass.. well done on giving up smoking!! :T

Hi everyone. Just saying hello. Im a former lurker. Have slowly piled on the pounds due to illness and giving up smoking (2 months now!). Its time for action. Holiday to skiathos booked for late summer and five stone to lose  Not expecting to lose it all by then but a size 14 bikini instead of a 20 would be nice. Anyway, enough from me. I'll be doing EE plan from Monday. Thanks for reading.
    Bye for now.

    Karen xx

Welcome lankielass. Holiday will be something to really get you motivated.

Wow! This thread moves so fast, I'm going to have to be organised to keep up

I've done my first weigh in and pleased to report a 3lb loss. Was hoping for a teeny bit more in my first week but am really pleased it's coming off Congrats to everyone who's lost this week x

    Great loss Sally :T

Hi all, well done to you losers!! Amazing feat following Christmas and New year.

I'm losing this week, so far so good, the scales are going down and the clothes are feeling slightly looser. The increase in fruit and veg is making me feel much better too.

However I have the weekend in the way before weigh in on Monday, and I know I will be slipping a bit. I'm going to up the exercise, and try to be moderate with eating.

I perked up a bit when I saw the news about more syns if you're bigger... I looked on the website but couldn't see any info about it. It would make sense though; I'm big and the week before Christmas I lost 2.5lbs on SW plan for main meals but I must have had 20+ syns per day (many more on some days).

I don't want to get carried away though!
