Mmmmmm pizza haven't seen a real pizza in a long time!! Elaborate???
I'm not a huge fan of pizza, I certainly couldn't eat a whole one, but on Tuesday night I went to a quiz and one of the team ordered a pizza and proceeded to offer it round the table. My mouth was watering, I was sorely tempted, but managed to resist. :A

I made the pizza out of the fakeaways book, using their dough, it was very nice although my 4th of the dough made a very thin pizza the size of a CD.
I'm getting confused about the Ryvita being either 2 or 4, how come 2 Ryvita is enough Fibre, but 5 Scan Brans are but not 2 Scan Brans, since they have loads more.
I'll continue to claim my Ryvita as Syns and stick to Branflakes.
Last night's Steak and Salad, turned into Steak, Salad and Chips followed by Sticky Toffee pudding and then some celebrations and biscuits.
Not sure what it wrong with me, did really well before Christmas, but just can't get back onto the wagon in any real sense.
Bathroom scales showed a 1lb gain, so not too drastic.0 -

I can not keep up with you girls on here - do not think i will ever have time to read all of the posts. Our class had over 60 people stay this week - included new starters and some people who usually leave but who wanted to hear about the new plan - so we did not have much time for questions.
I followed EE and lost 3lb - which was my last weeks gain - so i was happy enough - though i do feel a bit conned by all of the hype. Is SP not just EE without the carbs so your plate is two halves instead of three thirds - with a HEB thrown in for fibre? Could we not have ate red days instead? The consultant also failed to mention that SP is not suitable for diabetics. And i agree with lantanna what happens when you go back to eating carbs the week after?Blue Eyed Girl -
I'm not really too amused with sw at the minute to be honest. My consultant keeps posting her meals and yesterday for lunch it was literally a big tomato and a couple of slices of ham. Yes you'll shed loads of weight eating like that but how healthy is it and how sustainable. Is it healthy to be cutting out carbs one week and then eating them the next?? I thought we were meant to be following a healthy, well balanced, foods cooked from scratch approach. Not cutting carbs and eating ready meals.
I feel a time is going to come very very soon when I might take myself off and just do my own thing.
I think SW & WW feel they have to introduce a new diet every other year for publicity. This week in class members were already trying to tweak the diet - asking if they can syn yogurt - pasta - rice and potato on EESP - how are they going to have 50-50 if they add carbs?
For myself though - I would not advocate going off to do my own thing though - as that is how i ended up joining SW in the first placeSo you're Red John? I have to say I'm a little disappointed.0 -

We always have a naughty meal on weigh-in night.. so it's pizza this evening :T OH insists we do this so he doesn't feel deprived but i'm not complainingit hasn't really affected my weight loss so far although i imagine when i get nearer target i'll have to stop doing it as much.
It'll just be a shop bought one rather than a takeaway but it'll still be highish in syns.Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Apparently if your desperate for a yoghurt on an eesp day/week just have the synned ones and then it's syns not a random extra
I'm not doing eesp I think it was introduced wrongly tbh eesp should be used like success express not as a do it from day one approach
Personally is rather have it there in the background should I really need a ramped up week same as I can cut back on all the bits I shouldn't be having but haven't cut out since day onethat's my opinion anyway
Treat night pizza sounds good shala! Treat night doesn't do any harm and a treat night is always goodStarted sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

Personally I just think the EESP plan is quite irresponsible and doesn't give sufficient healthy guidelines.
Eating half a plate of protein if your choice of protein is red meat, processed meats including hams or sandwich meats several times a week is not recommended due to Bowel Cancer Concerns. And yes I know that there is a nod in the book towards this but in my mind its not enough !
I am fortunate in that I am relatively aware of the importance of Bowel Health and this part of the plan really annoys me and irresponsible consultants posting pics of their lunch consisting of a full pack of processed ham. You also need a sufficient amount of fibre to keep everything moving and this may not be gotten on the EESP. People will get great results doing EESP as you are cutting the calories and may abuse it doing only it most of the time. That's all that concerns me.
Some people think I will copy what my consultant does and lose weight - great you might but what about the rest of your health.
Little rant over !!
Just ignore me I am probably more annoyed with my Consultant's than anything else.
You enjoy your pizza shala you deserve it!0 -
Blue Eyed Girl - That afternoon tea looked great, pass me the sandwiches and scones! Instead of going for a sticky as your time to take your afternoon tea what about when you get into a certain size of trouser that you would like too??
That's a thought lantanna but the only trouble is that atm trousers are a 16, 18 and 20 and they all fit. Whatever size I choose to receive my reward - I'm sure if I look hard enough I will find a pair in that size that'll fitI noticed that - he looked like a weird flasher!! I thought it was obviously a fashion trend that had passed me by..
maman - i can only assume that having 1 alpen means 70 calories less in your day and that speeds up your weight loss rapidly:rotfl:
Weigh in tonight - i'm hopeful that i'm close-ish to what i weigned before xmas.. dreading the amount of people that are going to be there though, our consultant said she had 70 odd people last monday  hopefully they've all joined that class and not ours :rotfl:
menu today - not slimming world once we get to tea
B - quark, melon
L - 4 ryvita, cheese spread, beetroot
T - pizza  but :T (1,000,000 syns)
S - crisps (4) nectarine, satsuma, alpen (heb)
Good luck for wi shala and everyone else who is weighing in today.
I find it much harder to get back on that bloomin wagon jock than staying on it in the first place.
Sorry I cannot remember who mentioned that the name of EESP should not have been used for the new plan and I totally agree. It is far from Extra Easy as you have to be so careful even which veggies and fruit you have. I think it should have saved for people who needed a bit of a kick start if EE stops working.
