Sorry TIE, they're not on the list although I'm sure they used to be!

Whiplashy; bf has a Fitbit which I bought him for his birthday and he loves it. It's the only one that can log wheelchair basketball so he uses that to log rugby and the sleep monitoring really helps as he takes tizanidine for his muscle spasms so it's good to see what effect it has and monitor his actual sleep patterns.
Blue_eyed_girl; that afternoon tea looks divine!
Trying to decide whether or not hitting a few days SP would give me a boost. Can't quite get my hea round it all though. I could easily slog the days in when bf is away so I could do at least 4 days a month (do t think I'd squeeze it in every week but I would do days where two of three meals were SP)
My questions are:
It's 2heb and a hea right?!
Could I have baked omelettes with cherry tomatoes, ham and mushrooms in for breakfast? Or fruit salad with yogurt? Overnight oats and fruit?
Lunches; most soups I make have potatoes in; could I have a tinned soup and use the EE syn value if I wanted something hot? Would a salad with ham or tuna and boiled egg (lettuce, beetroot, cucumber, tomatoes, pickled onions) be fitting with the plan?
Evening meals I think I would maybe struggle; could I syn in rice/pasta?
Would people be so kind as to throw SP mains/evening meal ideas my way?
Thanks!
Plan for tomorrow:
Breakfast: weetabix (heb) and ss milk (from hea) plus a cuppa and a banana
Lunch: tomato mugshot, melon chunks and green grapes
Tea: chicken topped with bacon served with veggies, baked beans and 2 potato waffles (unsure of syns but I figure under 15 for 2) (chips for bf)
Eta sorry for any mistakes I'm using my phone as I still cant get the netbook to work properly on the Internet!************************************

ughh.. I see the vile troll katie hopkins has got herself on celeb BB
Thankfully BB is not a programme I watch, and I won't be starting now!yellowbird wrote: »I started sw years ago when it was red and green, now its extra easy eesp, success express etc, im getting really confused. ive gone back to red and green this month. I will re evaluate end of month when I weigh in. I liked sw when cornbeef was free on red (nom nom) and tinned macaroni cheese, and all dried noodles, and all fat free yoghurts. and when we did not talk about abuse of foods
You must have been doing it at the same time as me! The consultant circulated recipes for the things that became classed as food abuse like lasagne sheet crisps and couscous cake. My DH still has fond memories of corned beef quiche, but we still lost weight!
I recommend you give EE a try, it's much easier to eat 'normally' than Red and Green and I often find I have an HEB left at the end of the day.In other news - I feel cheated the new plan allows over 16stone 20 syns daily and over 18 stone 25 syns daily!!!i did not get extra syns when I started.(
I've never heard of that, is it new? I assume it's like WW points and reduces as you lose weight.
Loving the picture of afternoon tea, carrot cake and coffee and walnut are my two absolutes favourites.
Not liking the idea of the beetroot and brussel sprout sandwich. _pale_
Well done to the losers. :T

You cant have yog on SP unless it has a syn value
Soupwise, i buy the baxters mediterrean tomato. You can eat the whole 400g tin as a HEB. Currently in poundstretcher for 59p a tin. Stock up, its over £1 in all other supermarkets
You cant syn foods that are free, so no, as soon as you eat pasta/rice it reverts to an EE day
Evening meals just sub any carbs (spuds/rice/pasta) with speed veg. If i want bulk, i tend to go for root veg/squash, rather than greens0 -
The SW website has a 7 day meal plan with recipies that you can follow/use for inspiration0

Whoops
Just ordered myself the Diet Doodle Diary from fleabay - for inspiration and keeping focused.Did consider fitbit but I think it would be telling me how much I wasn't doing rather rather than what I was doing
. So thought I was better off spending a couple of pounds and it maybe a waste rather than a lot more and it not seeing daylight.
If this thread stays as busy as it has been over the last few days, I wont have time to fill my new diary in :rotfl:

yes they are a HEB, 2 or 1 as a speed food.
I've never understood why one or two are listed. I thought 2 as a HEB. But what's different about having one? (other than cheating yourself;)).yellowbird wrote: »well end of day 2 on plan. That's a good idea. Stick to what you know and then when you're ready ask about the new plans. To be honest, Red could be quite similar to the EESP plan as you only have very limited carbs but you do need to have plenty of Speed veg.Just thought of another sandwich I like sprout and beetroot :drool:0 -

Trying to plan tomorrows meals but don't know what I fancy. So far thinking:
Breakfast: Egg and toast (HEB)
Lunch: Ham and cheese omlette, with some beetroot on the side
Dinner: Jacket potatoes with beans and cheese (HEA)
Snacks: Fruit through the day and a curly whurly once the kids are in bed!
CP xx
Lots of people have Green days wither because they're veggies or because they're cheaper than EE or Red because of the cost of meat. Personally I think Red is more restrictive as it's really just fish/meat and veg and potatoes/pasta/pulses have to be synned or a HEB.0 -

Ah, I didn't know you couldn't syn free foods. I think I'll just stick to EE for now.
I've had my porridge so a good start!Trying to keep in budget.
