I feel absolutely dreadful today
Haven't worked out if it's "carb flu" or actually proper sick yet.
I'm loving my fitbitNeed to up my activity a bit more but that's no surprise! How much water is everyone else drinking? I logged 1500ml today and the app reckons I still need a bit more, but I really can't face anymore of it! I've been finding the sleep info the most interesting. I have ME and I take tablets at night to improve my sleep. They certainly help a lot, as before I started them I was getting very little sleep, but apparently I still spend half the night restless. I'm only getting 50% sleep efficiency...Not really sure what I can do about it though.
I'm thinking about giving butternut squash "chips" a try for tomorrow's dinner. Do I need to par boil the squash before it goes in the oven?
Congrats to everyone who's posted a loss so farBack on the slimming world wagon 04.01.18

well end of day 2 on plan. I feel like ive been dieting for weeks, not 2 days. I am definitely food obsessive. ive got to admit that im getting confused with all the different eating plans on sw now. I started sw years ago when it was red and green, now its extra easy eesp, success express etc, im getting really confused. ive gone back to red and green this month. I will re evaluate end of month when I weigh in. I liked sw when cornbeef was free on red (nom nom) and tinned macaroni cheese, and all dried noodles, and all fat free yoghurts. and when we did not talk about abuse of foods i.e making lasagne sheet crisps, or squashing fruit (that is now sinned) even if it is just one orange/apple. any way congrats to all on your weight loss._starting again! 06/01/15___________________________________0

Wow things are flying here so much to catch up on again tonight.
jock, one step forward, jellybaby, matron, boddy, flea (and anyone I've missed) - well done on your great losses. :T
meg - we have used the Asda Smart Price Chilli and its not too bad (not very meaty but not unpleasant) and for 57p a tin. Great over JPs. Sainsbugs tinned beef ravioli is free.
shala - no you didn't spoil programme but I found it a bit meh. Dr Christian was as dull as bloomin dishwater. Will probably still watch it next week though just in case ........... :rotfl: WOW 43.5 stones
Mildredd - I would say go for it girl. As shala says you can maybe get an insight to see whether or not consultancy is for you. Good luck.
Matron - your sticky chicken sounds lovely - must give it a go. We had sticky hoisin sausages tonight but used Sainsbugs Low Fat Sausages instead of the cocktail sausages that were in the recipe on website. They are lovely too.
Well really folks I should be sitting on the naughty step instead of lying on the sofa. Up until 3pm today I had been a good girl but then DH and I had afternoon tea . I did take a piccy I was going to share with you but I don't think it's really fair of me if people are struggling but I will say that it was very very nice. So tonight we had sticky hoisin sausages, baked bean and jp (I know maman don't shout at me for lack of sf but I did eat some greenery that came with afternoon tea
) oh and then I had a real proper orange (don't like them as I only usually do satsumas). Going to start over again in the morning.
Have noticed that the weight loss might a slowed down a little lately but I think some of the new clothes I am looking at are starting to reduce in size a little which isn't a bad thing. Even looking at some stuff in Primark now
Take care everyone

I always microwave my butternut squash first. I don't like it to be undercooked as I find it has a weird texture (although OH isn't bothered by it) so I cut it up and then microwave for 10 minutes then stick in the oven/actifry.
I would imagine if you're not picky like meyou could probably just stick them straight in the oven.
2nd vote for the afternoon tea picture..we can live vicariously through you.

Welcome Whiplash, I too have ME and can fully identify with the restless sleep. Did not sleep well at all last night. I've been considering getting a fitbit at some point, OH has a garmin but he is super fit and does 14 mile runs etc. I'm afraid it may spur me on to be more active but then effect the ME energy levels etc. Still undecided.
Feeling fed up today, still caved into the chocolates again although not as many. Its difficult, OH took some biscuits into work but we can't really give the sweets away as children still want them and I really need to learn to say no even when they are around.
Did manage to make a large batch of Mushy pea curry today so gradually getting organised again.

Oh go on then beanie - just for you :rotfl:
DH asked if we could change the carrot cake as I didn't like it and they brought over two lovely slices of coffee and walnut. I will add that I only had half of a slice of that.
Did you enjoy that beanie?:D
Sil has bought us afternoon tea at a posh hotel as a Christmas pressie to be used during 2015. Said I might use that when I hit a milestone loss - just debating which milestone. Ideas anyone? Suggestions of getting to target will not be accepted as goodness only knows if and when I will get there. :rotfl:
