Sorry you had a rotten day, gien. :(

Well done Catcherupper, jocko, one step forward, jellybaby, Matron, boddy and Lauri. :T

Lush, glad you’ve had it a wee bit easier with wonderbairn.

I discovered that a tin of smartprice chilli con carne is only 1syn and 57p so made a big pot of soup to try it out.
Meg, do you mean you put the can of chilli in the soup?

Sugar sandwiches – ugh! I hated them! They were no better than those butter and sugar balls my mum used to give for a sore throat!! Our cheap sandwich was beetroot – mmm that’s put me in the notion …..

That sticky chicken sounds yum, Matron.

    Here’s today’s damage:

Breakfast: hexb porridge made with water, splash hexa milk
Lunch: baked potato with prawn mayo (1 syn), Onken ff strawberry yogurt & banana
    Snack: spiced pear muffin (again)
Dinner: mince & potatoes, Brussels sprouts, Hartleys 10 jelly ( ½ syn), kiwi fruit
Snack: 2 mini babybel light & grapes
    Total: 1 ½ syns + muffin

I gave away 6 of my muffins, which left 6 here. And only 2 of them left now, so last one tomorrow (if DH hasn’t eaten it for me, lol).

I bought a Fitbug Orb today from Sainsburys. I've been monitoring steps today but not sure how you do the other stuff? Been using my iPad and iPhone apps. Tried to look on the website but struggling to find anything about fitness goals etc? Is there more if you log in on a PC?
If you go onto their site here you should be able to login if you set up an account (should be grand on your ipad). You should be able to add goals, log exercise (that isn't steps) & log your food. I need to have a better look around their site tbh cos I'm not really sure what all else you can do on there. HTH :)

A 0.5lb gain for me this week. Entirely deserved considering how much I ate and drank over new year though!

    Lovely to read everyone's updates/recipes/plans.
I'm not really sur dhow I did today to be honest, I think EE:
B: missed it, had to rush out on just coffee:o
L: chicken stir fry, only veg, no carbs. Yogurt.
D: chicken fajitas, with peppers, lettuce. I had one wrap, which I think is 6 syn (if I remember correctly, old El Paso). And half an ounce of cheese, which with the milk I had in three cups of coffe is my HEA (100mls half fat milk).

So, it looks fine but I have felt really full all day, which I wouldn't have expected. I haven't picked at anything or cheated - maybe my digestions just a bit off whack.

    Tommorow will be:
    B: porridge, Apple (HEB,A)
    L: ham and egg salad
D: cottage pie (Verl lean mince, carrots onions, mushrooms, mashed potato) with broccoli on the side.

Any idea of the syns in a normal packet of Jelly, because that's what's for pudding.

And I must remember to drink more water
    Trying to keep in budget.

    Hi all
Joined a SW club last night and it seems like quite a good one. Leader seem ands quite suportive and knew everyone by name and there were a lot of them.. Several new joiners like me.

    So menu today was:
Breakfast - ham and tomato omlette
    snack - belvita
lunch - musgshot, carrot sticks, satsuma and ML youghurt
    snack - kit kat
dinner - stir fyr veg with 3 Red onion and rosemary sausages, tablespoon of sweet chilli sauce in my veg
supper - ryvita and philly (HeA and B)

total of 10.5 syns for the day

so not a bad day on an off the cuff one and I had not done any planning or prep before hand and was wanting to use up stuff I had in ie stir fry veg, tomatoes etc.
