I'll be interested to know what the dauphinoise is like. I make mine from Reduced Fat crème fraiche so it's very synful.

I had some quark to use up which was why I was actually looking on the Lake District website! Only making up enough for 2 portions as I only have half of tub of quark left.

Will definitely let you know what it's look tomorrow!

Just hoping I've done enough "reining" in to myself back into target range!

I've found with using quark in recipes that need baking, the quark splits and goes a bit weird in texture - how do you all stop that happening?

The recipe I have has some cornflour in it so I'm assuming that's to stabilise the quark?

Will let you know tomorrow if it works.

What can I have for my dinner folks???

I have steak, onion and mushrooms nd peas

Any suggestions? Not sure I feel like SW Chips and thinking I'm lacking in the potato department ..............
  • How about cutting it into strips, stir frying with veg and serving with noodles or pasta.
I'm having sticky chicken for tea and can't wait it smells yummy and it's only marinating.
