Welcome Whiplash, I too have ME and can fully identify with the restless sleep. Did not sleep well at all last night. I've been considering getting a fitbit at some point, OH has a garmin but he is super fit and does 14 mile runs etc. I'm afraid it may spur me on to be more active but then effect the ME energy levels etc.

It's so difficult to work out a balance with ME. I work 3 days a week, and spend a lot of my work time on my feet, so I tend to be pretty sedentary on the other 4 days to allow me to keep working. My goal is to get my self up to 10000 steps on my days off, but not focus on the quality of those steps. Once I've gotten to the 10000 I'll start trying to turn some of them into more active steps. I had a very quiet day in work today and still clocked up 23 active minutes, along with over 8000 steps (by the time I finished work at 2pm!) Quiet days don't happen very often so I only need to concentrate on my days off :)

Sorry you had a rotten day, gien. :(

Well done Catcherupper, jocko, one step forward, jellybaby, Matron, boddy and Lauri. :T

Lush, glad you’ve had it a wee bit easier with wonderbairn.

I discovered that a tin of smartprice chilli con carne is only 1syn and 57p so made a big pot of soup to try it out.
Meg, do you mean you put the can of chilli in the soup?

Yes sorry I didn't explain too well, I used the can of chilli as the base for the soup

Tin smart price chilli con carne

Tin chilli beans KTC on offer 25p

Tin chopped tomato on offer 25p

    Onion (1 sprouting)

    Carrots (2 sad bendy)
    aq
Celery ( just one stickq and a few leaves really0

    lentils ( a good handful

    2 tins water

Just put it all in and boiled up, made a huge pot and really good. Did add a tad more chilli powder to give it more of kick depends on personal taste.

is this always been like that? that means I could have 25 syns, consultant never told me that, or is that only if you do the new EESP? I will need to ask her.

B-E-G that afternoon tea looks so delicious, cake envy big time

Thanks for explaining. wiz doesn't eat many veg and she's managing a steady pound a week off so it can be done. Why not try some Red or Green days where Speed food isn't so crucial? Oh and you forgot to mention beetroot!:rotfl:

Ahh good old beetroot.... Speaking of sandwiches. I simply LOVE cornbeef and beetroot sandwiches!! Craving one now so I'd better go to bed :rotfl: I'm not sure how the red and green plan works. Maybe I should have a look as you always give great advice and know what your talking about.

Ohh what a wicked thing to say to a child, don't think you are even a little crazy, and don't think you need look further than what you have achieved already, your own kids , may I make a little suggestion, you are HOME NOW, your home your rules, if you don't want to eat veg DONT and try to forget the thoughtless bullying that you experienced, it would have been kindly meant, it was just the way it was then.

Thanks Meg. Completely understand that is the way it was then. Whenever i'm in hospital now the choices are amazing. But I always make someone bring me in food too "just in case". Think thats why I binge eat too (get it while I can type of thing) :rotfl:

Trying to plan tomorrows meals but don't know what I fancy. So far thinking:

    Breakfast: Egg and toast (HEB)
Lunch: Ham and cheese omlette, with some beetroot on the side ;)
Dinner: Jacket potatoes with beans and cheese (HEA)

Snacks: Fruit through the day and a curly whurly once the kids are in bed! :o
