Decided im having turkey lasagne tomorrow night - sick of looking at just lettuce lol! Ill probably have it with broccoli and sprouts but im not sure if its classed as EE or SP...
Lean turkey mince (2% fat)
Pasatta
Tomato puree & crushed garlic & also random spices
Cherry tomatoes
Small tin of chopped tomatoes
Onion
Wuster &soy sauce
Stock cube
I plan on building it like the hairy bikers - ragu, blanched leeks (instead of lasagne sheets) then on the top my HEA of cheese & a 'white sauce' (spiced milk thickened woth cornflour).... i know there'll be syns but itll do me 4 days of dinner :-)I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know
On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!0 -
I was just going to go off and look for the recipe so thank you Tweets! It's lovely - if you're a meat eater with some bacon in is apparently the best way, if veggie then it goes lovely with the linda mccartney rosemary sausages. Great filling meal and suits the cold weather
Must cook another one soon, it's a favourite here...
Back from WI with a great start to the challenge - 1lb gainTo be honest that's not bad given the hot cross buns with full fat butter, crisps and chocolate. Perhaps the EESP stuff has saved me from a worse fate! I'm only 1lb below the stone barrier I broke about 5 weeks ago and getting further from my 4 stone shiny rather than towards it
I will be good this week.

From what I’ve read here, I don’t think I’d be able to manage EESP. Success Express wasn’t for me either
As you all know, I have no will power.
Congrats on your shiny, b-e-g. That’s fantastic.:j
Well done, bellkat:D
Hello, yellowbird.
Thanks for the advice, lantana. We can do this beanie – if nothing else, we’ll have made an impression on our freezers! I also turned past-it pears that couldn’t be eaten as fruit into spiced pear muffins. Not very good for me, but a lot more mse than just putting them in the bin.
So today went –
Breakfast: 2 poached eggs on hexb toast with a scrape of butter (3 syns)
Lunch: HM celeriac soup, persimmon (Ist time I’ve had one, don’t know what to say about it other than I would eat one again although it’s not top of my list)
Snack: a spiced pear muffin – well, I had to make sure I wouldn’t poison anyone– probably about all the rest of my syns, but worth it!
Dinner: mince & potatoes, carrots, parsnips and peas, Onken ff strawberry yogurt
Snack: hexa 3 mini babybel light, grapes
Good luck for a new day.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Eurgh, awful day here! Started well enough with cereal and milk, then lunch I used up some left over curry (vegetarian) which I found and had a low fat natural yogurt and a bit of fruit. Coming home I got stuck in a muddy field, really badly, and had to be rescued by a passer by. So I got in really late, very cold and muddy, with three kids who were baffled and hungry. So DH went and got pizza and opened some wine.
oh well, start again tomorrow!Trying to keep in budget.

Weigh-in tonight - a 2.5 lb loss - I am very happy.
I need another loss of 1.5lb next week for my one stone award, then a further 3lb for my Club 10, which I'd like to get by the end of January/beginning of February.
I will try to do another two SP days next week.0 -
Lauri - your weigh in result this week will count as your first week results.. hope that's ok.
Chuffed to bits with that tbh. It's probably just the Christmas gain and a wee friend going MIA but I'm hoping that the EE plan is suiting me so I'll be sticking at EE this week and see how I get on.
I hope you're feeling better soon Shala.
Tweets - sounds like jealously from you work colleagues. You're doing so well, don't let their comments bring you down.
Blue_eyed_girl - congrats on the shiny! Your hubby sounds like such a good egg, it's lovely that he's so supportive.
Fluff1987 - the Allinson snack rolls aren't showing up on the site but the larger rolls are (the 4 pack at 65g each) they are 8 syns on all plans. I think you can have 60g of wholemeal bread as an HEB (someone please correct me if I'm wrong).
On the vouchers, the one in woman mag is def free joining and you only pay £4.95 on the first day as I used this last week to rejoin.
I had a Fitbit zip and loved the wee thing but managed to lose it in mid December, got it caught on a basket in tesco and it must've pulled it off but I didn't realise until later in the day. I treated myself last week to a fitbug orb from Sainsburys cos they were half price (£25). It's a grand wee thing and comes with a watch strap type thing so you can wear it on your wrist or a pop in pocket clip (I use this). I would've liked another Fitbit zip but at over £40 at time of looking I decided to give the orb a bash & I really like it.
This is the second time I've typed out this long post as my laptop has decided it doesn't want to play nice tonight :mad:0 -
Oops - that should be 1lb gain for the chart Shala
I thought you were trying to hide it from me in the first post so I didn't pick it up for the challenge :rotfl:I am cross that I lost nearly 2 stones very slowly and I've put it all back on. My clothes look awful, I feel sluggish and I am lethargic.
At the same time I hated parts of being on SW .... Like being with a large group of women and they're all drinking wine or lattes and I'm on diet coke. They're mostly having desserts and I'm not. I walk and cycle most days and my friends walk as far as their cars and they're
all still slimmer than me.:(
I know we all do it but it isn't healthy for your mind to compare yourself to others.
Maybe your friends who only walk to their car eat very little food or have very active days. Maybe the ladies at class that can have desserts and lattes are exaggerating and have only had one a week or have 5 stone more than you to lose so can "get away" with eating more..
Just be the best that you can be each day, and stick to plan as much as you can and the weight should come off again.:D
I've just watched the new Dr Christian program, I didn't like it, much preferred Supersize v Superskinny. I don't get how it's helpful to anyone, other than trying to get each of the pairs into arguments about their lifestyle choicesdisappointed.

Umm... what is homity pie?
Does anyone know how many syns are in Allinsons brown snack rolls? I havent had any (yet) but want to check if they are allowed as a HEB?
HEA- feta cheese on chicken (am i right in thinking 45g - though i dont use it all)
The brown snack rolls aren't on the list, however you can count 60g of any wholemeal bread as a HEB. If they're described as brown they may not count. It's up to you if you ant to count them as a HEB as a one off, otherwise you'll need to syn them.
There's a link on page 1 to the list of HEAs and HEBs and I just noticed the homity pie is in the list of recipes also on page 1. Thanks tweets for linking to it as well. It looks very nice, quite like the idea of adding bacon to it.
