I think the same with the SP breakfasts maman.. If you wanted to keep it 50/50 then you could perhaps have a couple of boiled eggs or rolled slices of ham to nibble on later?

The fitbit is easy to use Inazuma, it syncs it to the phone app or online via Bluetooth and just add extra info where you want ;)
  • Hi All

Interesting to hear people's opinions of the fitbit. I had one years ago that strapped onto your waistband, but I love the look of these watch-style ones. Only trouble is I have fat wrists, so I'd be worried about spending loads of money and not being able to get it on!

Went to the gym this morning, I'm following a couch to 10k plan and I'm on week 5. Nearly passed out when it said I was going to run 20 mins today, but I managed it! Been starving ever since though...

    pre-gym snack: banana
breakfast1 at home: eggs and ham (rushed between gym and work, didn't have time to cook veg to go with so no sf)
breakfast2 at work: bowl of fruit and fibre (45g so 1 hxb and 2 syns I think, and 1hxa)
    snack: another banana
lunch: another bowl of the never ending curry (plenty of veg in the curry, served with rice)
thinking about yoghurts and fruit now, might nip out to Tesco for some fresh air and pick something up. It's been chucking it down here but it seems to be brightening up a bit now.
There's another portion of curry for lunch tomorrow, and probably 2 portions at home, but I'm not sure I can face it for tea. Might need to have a rethink on that....

    Good Afternoon :)

Bit :( with workmates in school kitchen.

Yesterday was first day back after school holidays and I updated them on my weight loss 4 and half Christmas week then gain 2 and half New Year week . Instead of saying well done the 3 of them said I don't need to lose anymore weight I have lost enough and look ok now  and will look ill if I lose anymore :(

I am still overweight for my height so have no intention of stopping losing :D I am not being overweight :D

The 3 in kitchen weight wise cook ok one overweight and other very overweight so I am wondering if they are jealous I am losing ;)

I need to lose another 8 lbs to be top weight in bracket for normal weight :) and intend to lose more than that so I don't go over into the overweight bracket again :T

I already told my Poppy (dog) yesterday and got no one else to tell I live on my own with my Poppy :D

Hope weigh in on Thursday afternoon is a :j:j:j and not another :(

Sorry for essay but I had to get  off my chest :D

I'll be interested too. You had good losses beforehand jock so let's see if this week's even bigger. I'd be interested to know if anyone who's been a but stuck in the doldrums (tiny losses/STS) sees an improvement. Losing Christmas weight wouldn't really count in my book as I always think quickly on/quickly off.

i think it's impossible to check this week, I gained 4lbs on over Christmas, but gained a couple back the two days before weigh in. I also ate a large papa johns pizza, wedges and a giant cookie on NYE, and started the SP diet the day after.

I'd have expected to lose a good few just on the normal diet, I might do SP again in a couple of weeks and see if I notice any improvement (or maybe as a detox after quite a carby day).

I don't see the point in posting a large loss this week, I might fake it by drinking lots of water and wear jeans and a jumper, and bank the larger loss for the following week so I can get a basket of fruit and a sticker!

Then again I'd like to be back at less than 14st as soon as possible,

Good afternoon. It's been a mixed week and I am dreading w.i. tomorrow.

I've had good and bad days but the box of quality street sabotaged me, I hate those things, I just couldn't stop.

All done now, ready to get stuck in properly.

Thinking about not going tomorrow, too humiliating, I can't stand the questions and discussion.

I think you should go unless you plan to have a really good week to make you feel better first. It's always best to draw a line and move forward.:)

I completely agree jock. When I think about it, launching straight after Christmas/New Year is likely to give distorted readings. It'll be far better to find how good is SP is in a month or two.

Ignore your colleagues tweets. You (and us and Poppy;)) know just how well you're doing. You'll know yourself if you start to look scrawny/scraggy and too thin. Until then, keep going!!! I think it probably is a bit of jealousy but not just because you've lost but that you're showing resolve and willpower and achievement and they're not.:T:A

Tweets I used to get that a lot when I was losing and it used to drive me mental! You will get that an awful lot when you are losing. I used to get pretty hung up on the BMI thing and it is hard not too. Mine is around 24 usually so ok but I am borderline but after a long long time and trial and error I decided that was the weight I looked best at - well my face did ! Shame about the belly! I'm afraid I had to make that choice!

I do still get it a bit here and there a right charmer told me not so long ago to remember that no man ordered a skinny steak and to remember this !

I know I am not scrawny etc yet and still feel and look fattish when I look in the mirror :( . Workmates keep telling me to treat myself well I have had the odd cake in work but it will be in my syns so I can eat it. I eat my lunch in work egg mayo butty 1 slice bread with veg sometimes I have a blob mash depends how I am feeling.

Poppy weighs just over 2 stone so I have lost a Poppy ;) :rotfl::rotfl: I can lift her but she feels heavy so I know I have lost just more than her and what I was carrying around 25 weeks ago :D.

It does annoy you but I try not to say anything because I am not like that. I started SW because my work trousers wouldn't fasten they do now in 18 and I have also got a pair of 16 that also fasten :T:T

I would have told the charmer to take a running jump  cheeky so and so.
