I don't understand what SW were going for with this new EESP plan. When my mum told me there was a new plan coming out I was expecting some variation of 5:2 or low carb/high fat, but this is just low carb, low sugar, low fat - I don't see what the selling points are?? I'm sure that the old success express plan was only recommended if red/green/ee wasn't working, so to make that the whole premise of a new plan and push it through all the groups seems a bit strange to me.
Never mind, we'll be sticking with EE in this house.0 -
well wonder bairn obviously has other ideas about what I'm going to do as she decided it was a great time to wake up and scream at me *sigh*************************************

Just reading back through the forum from the start! Taken forever!
Meg – I have to say you have as much luck with men as I do, don’t let it put you off – now if only I could follow that advice myself! :rotfl:
Shala – how did the spiral cutter turn out? I could do with one of those! I had a chuckle at your comment about faffing lol!!! I too have been wanting one of these for ages. courgette noodles are on my list of things to make
I’m struggling getting back on Extra Easy so think it will be another week or so before I get on board with the new plan trial. I think a lot of it is psychological with me, all this talk of no carbs had me scoffing vast amounts of mashed potato over the weekend which I wouldn’t normally do!
Beanielou – My everything is too tight!!
TIE – I’m another who is surprised on the Blueberry front! I’m still going to continue to eat them. In my mind the Health benefits from Blueberries outweighs the sugar content that may have led to them not being classed as superfrees! Kiwis as well.
I can conclude I really do not like swede!!!
Also my book is falling apart already and I have only read it twice!! I kind of fear that the all carbs are evil mentality could be adopted by a lot of SW peops especially if EESP is found to be a hit with a lot.
Really struggling with New Years / Post Christmas blues right now! I hope 2015 turns out to be a better year than last!
Sort of having a melt about what I'm doing with my life etc  I hate this time of year brings out the worst in me though I know I am not alone in this and many will be doing the same. Christmas & New Year is a funny old time to be single, not with who you would like to be and unhappy! I will put my Violin away now:eek:
No idea what I'm following at the minute - none of it really, but here is todays menu!!
B: Greek Yogurt, oats & a peach
L: Cottage pie with swede mash with celery, onion, peppers, carrots ,mushrooms ,mushy peas & he cheesePie again and Baked Beans
Syns : Red sauce & extra cheese probably since I can't stop eating it
Feeling trapped wind coming on from all the veg at lunch / great see I can't win, here comes a sleepless night!

Ooh she fell back to sleep watching me Zumba! I managed a short workout which is 7 songs, the Europe 'tour' which is 6 songs plus a cool down song
That's a handful of calories burnt and a hit of endorphins and energy ... now to reward myself with a cup of tea with milk from the 75ml remaining in my HeA for the day

mich - sorry if we ruined Biggest Loser for you
makeover week was brilliant, i actually teared up a little, but i'm gutted that Santa didn't stay in long enough to get rid of that beard!
No, you didn't at all.. Skipped past the mentionsI don't think Santa would have parted with the beard somehow! :rotfl:
Am doing an EE day today as fancied some rice tonight, at work so keeping it simple.. Have to say I've found doing SP easier than expected, love having the extra heb choice.. Always got confused with red and green plans so this is making it easier for me!
I need to start doing some exercise now to tone up.. Already walk on my treadmill (can't run for more than a couple of mins at a time) go to a belarobics class most weeks but that's more social / fun than a work out.. Was thinking of following a DVD, so many out there.. Anyone got a recommendation of one to try?.. Don't like jumping around aerobics type stuff and Jillian and her shred might be a bit much to tackle.. Been looking at Davina and Charlotte Crosby ones, like sound of it being short bursts of exercises..
Did a wee photo comparison from my SW start to now.. http://instagram.com/p/xb_JGZGjZi/ not sure what to call target.. 4.5 stone was what I had in my head, but not far off that now 6lbs.. If I make it 5 stone off I'm worried incase I'll struggle to maintain the target range.. Thinking of making it 12 stone and then try and get my 5 stone award 11st 10lb but then not have the worry of staying there, always said I wasn't bothered about the numbers.. Just want to get in size 12 jeans.. My 14's are getting loose and can get in some stretch 12's now but muffin top means its a no no for wearing them in public.. Decisions, decisions... :rotfl:0 -
Wow, well done Mich! I wish I'd got a 'before' photo cos I still feel fat most of the time, I just occasionally get a glimpse of me in mirrors and realise it's not all that bad any more :rotfl:
Calling target is hard. I've got a similar debate going on because maintaining is going to be hard work! I'm hoping to find somewhere that my body copes with and I don't wander too far from but I guess I'll see when I get a wee bit closer if it's practical.
ETA: So who do we want to win then? Just so long as it isn't Conda I'll be happy!:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Have been a lot bigger over the years that but that was my SW start pic.. Side view shows a big difference.. Need to go for new bra fittings at some point too :rotfl:
Definitely not Conda to win.. Don't like her attitude at all0 -

Hi lovely was wondering how you were doing. don't worry about me I am not put off. in fact am having the most fun I have in years :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: is very good body magic and great for mental health. I am now up to over 100 replies and of the opinion that 99% are not genuine, or if they are God help them.
I have hesitated to share some of these messages as feel maybe people will think I am making them up, I wish that I had such a good imagination, maybe I could have been a famous writer.
Anyway get the violin back out and play for me please. something lively and jiggy.
Man OTT with compliments on New Years Eve, would love to meet me but had to tell me he only dated well endowed ladies and would I please send photo of my boobs, laughed so much needed to go change, Replied that I totally understood as size was important to me too and if he sent me a photo of his 12 inches I would send mine and Boo Hoo no reply, gutted NOT.
Chin up lovely, christmas and new year are hard but we can survive.
For the benefit of newbies who are probably thinking what has this to do with SW, its kept me out of the biscuit tin. and that has to be good.Slimming World at target0 -
