Hi Murie - I mentioned Muller lights, and I think I'm right in saying they have to be counted as syns on the new plan, EESP.

  • Hello all

Just a quick update to let you know that the scales have advised of a 7lb Christmas/New Year gain :( It is what I expected, to be honest. Hoping to get it off again in two weeks.

I have started strictly back on SW this morning -I even threw a load of half eaten boxes of chocs away last night. Salad for lunch and a chicken casserole is gently simmering in the slow cooker.

    We can do this!!

hard to say really, as in the book they are syn free so you can't really syn them. they just say you can still have them but don't expect to lose as much weight.

My view was to syn them using the 20 calories a syn rule, so about 5, seems healthier than eating a fudge bar to me.

There is some confusion here I think, they are FREE, the Greek ones are half a syn. However you're not supposed to eat them if you're doing EESP, EE eat as many as you want.

murie, it looks like you are still doing the normal extra easy plan by the menu you posted so mullerlights are still free.

Lois and Jock are talking about the new EESP plan that is meant to boost your weight loss.. fat free yogurts are not meant to be eaten on those days.

e.t.a opps Jock beat me to that.. cross posted!

Wow! Just took an age catching up on all the pages since yesterday.:D

I find a Thursday WI suits me. After WI I'm motivated to do my meal plan for the coming week. I always have a high syn weekend (saved up) and then I've got three whole days of eating normally before WI. That's just the way my mind works considering Thursday is the most convenient local class. I'm sure I'd cope whichever day.

    My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, baked beans, HEB toast
L: not really hungry, maybe fruit and ham
D: chicken casserole (butter beans, onions, leeks, celery, mushrooms, carrots) with broccoli and (few) new potatoes
    Syns: scrape of spread, cornflour

I am all caught up :)

Today is my first day making a real effort to be good again; bf has gone to camp this morning so its slightly easier.

Breakfast: 2 weetabix (HeB) with 175ml semi skimmed milk (from HeA)
lunch: bowl of homemade leek and tattie soup
tea: homemade casserole (will allow 5syns as there will likely have been a tbsp oil and 1 tbsp plain flour used) with extra veggies on the side

snacks: satsumas and cups of tea.

I will pick some fruit up at Aldi at some point, probably tomorrow on my way home from work to give me some variety and snacks for at work.

Wonder Bairn has just gone down for a nap after a terrible night and being woken by a delivery man 5 mins after she dropped off this morning so I am going to change from my leggings and do a workout Zumba world party :) might even fit more than a short class in depending how long she sleeps!

will be back after that :)
