treeny - OH has a homemade oats so simple that I make up for a HEB - it's 35g value oats and 180ml milk, you can sweeten it with sweetner or syn a bit of syrup/honey... I just make up little bags of it and he just has one a day.

gien - you're correct, you would need another Heb for that menu to be 100% EESP

Well I've had me tea and my quarky strawberries for pudding..

Ending my day on 14 syns :T

Unfortunately i'm sat here looking like a weirdo again, my hives are back and i'm covered head to toe :( itchy, burny nasties!!

I think we've narrowed it down to an allergy to ibuprofen so the sinus relief tablets I paid £5 for today are now rubbish because they contain it! I hate being ill...

With all the new pledges we have now a running total of 38 STONE to lose..
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

Thanks Shala for the challenge chart!

I love that diet doodle diary so tempted to buy online but just about to go back to work after 6 months on maternity leave so also trying to be money saving......

My countdown runs out in a week. My consultant said to buy a 6 week one as no offers for Jan for existing members but in Feb there will be a free book with a 12 week countdown. I love a freebie so will do that.

    My food today:
B - grapefruit, orange apple 2 benefit choc fudge bars
L - tuna steak with beetroot, rocket, tomato, healthy A of cheddar
D - roast chicken, SW roast potatoes, carrots, cabbage, leeks, peas.

Snacks - an apple , another benefit bar (3 syns), a skinny cow caramel shortcake icecream (5 syns), a skinny cow double mint icecream (5 syns)

I bought the skinny cow icecreams in Lidl 99p for a pack of 3 they are amazing I love them but I only meant to have one tonight I am still under 15 syns though (just)....

Morning everyone. Alarm went off at 5.30 as back to work after a 2 week holiday - that was a shock to the system! I have just weighed myself so now know my starting point and how much I have to lose.

Quick question - are the Kelloggs multigrian porridge sachets counted as a HEB?

Dinner of a veggie packed pork curry in the slow cooker for tonight on the go and a bag of fruit ready for work. Feeling positive!!

Have a great day everyone :D

    Morning...

Beanie - those diaries are lovely.. i'm going to get one once this one runs out!!

mich - sorry if we ruined Biggest Loser for you :o makeover week was brilliant, i actually teared up a little, but i'm gutted that Santa didn't stay in long enough to get rid of that beard!

    Quick meal plan.. EE..

    B - melon, quark
    L - BLT, crisps (heb & 4.5)
T - pork steak, cabbage, carrots, small potato, gravy (2)
S - milk in tea (hea) satsuma, apple
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

  • OK I'm starting to get bored with EESP, still down as 14st 0lb, which is a 4lb lost since Friday but seems to have plateued now.

Personally I think I'd have done as well sticking to EE.

All I seem to be doing is removing a couple of mullerlights and a bit of pasta with a HEB, which is usually some Ryvita for me, which normally I would have synned each day, and then having some extra syns for chocolate.

I understand how it could vastly improve someone's weight loss who wasn't really losing a lot, as I see EE lets you have quite a heavy carb diet (jackets for lunch, pasta for tea, etc.) and as much fat free yoghurt as you can eat.

But for me my usual carb intake for the day is 75g of pasta/bit of rice/one potato and very occassionally something with lunch and 2 mullerlights.

I'm also finding the extra HEB difficult to plan for unless I know in advance what I'm doing all day and organise it. Yesterday I was out and forgot to have it.

I think I'm just going to have some EESP meals when it suits me, so for example when I had lemon and herb chicken with salad, don't bother with the rice which I was just having to make up a third of the plate as free food.

I see why they say to only do it for a week, it's a difficult diet to do as the free foods make the diet quite flexible and why I liked it.

I've also got a pot of fat free yoghurt and some mullerlights about to go off in the fridge.

But i'll perservere today, as we're having a cooked chicken for tea and I've brought the pea, ham and veg soup I made to work. So should be ok today. Weigh in is tomorrow, so will give it up at tea time I think.

Lol! I missed the start of the season so it was only the week they went home that I saw that Chris was married to Santa!

Morning everyone, welcome to loads of new people and to the first day of the New Year, New You challenge. Good luck to everyone, we've got a load of weight that's gonna get shifted :j

Not sure what I'm eating today but I'm thinking it'll be another gain this week no matter what I do :( Just got to keep it small. I'm going to try eesp today as I have leftover mini quiches and beans which will make an eesp lunch, and going to do roast peppers stuffed with veg and quorn mince for tea, with HEA low fat mozzarella on top.

Just got to take the kiddies out to tesco to buy more fruit, mince and a few other bits so that I can actually make it.
