Crabapple - I love Biggest Loser :j:j i sit with the calculator to work out what they weigh in stonage.. I felt for Jeremy this week, i'd have liked him to win, but at least going on that show at 22 has meant he's saved his life because he wouldn't have seen 30 :(

Oh Shala, I'm so glad there's someone else :) Jeremy is lovely, can't stand his sister though :rotfl:Some of those people have lost so much but then 4 hours of exercise a day is pretty much a guarantee of losing weight. I just  when I think about that!

    Hiya -

Kazzaw - DH and I weigh on Fridays, first thing in the morning in pyjamas. We record the results in the back of a notebook.

Shala - thanks for the chart, that's a very long list, and will be amazing if we all reach our target. I quite fancy one of those diaries but can't get one until we're back at the end of March.

I've only had 1 syn today for salad cream and we've decided not to have wine tonight as DH has an early start for golf tomorrow, so I could use some syns for a treat, but guess what - we haven't got anything nice in! And there are no corner shops here to pop out for something. :rotfl: Might have a bit of extra cheese on a ryvita when we have our HEs later.

I don't like her either, yet everyone in the house seems too.. it's weird and Jeremy is so nice, i didn't realise they were related at first.

The only thing i don't like about it is that it gives people unrealistic expectations of how fast they should be losing weight. Most people wouldn't lose 15lb in a week!

The diet diary looks cute, I found it online if anyone wants one:
    http://www.theworks.co.uk/p/healthy-eating-books/diet-doodle-diary/9781781868263

There's a code for 20% off and free postage if you spend £10 on the homepage, plus 20% cashback through quidco. I've added a Yoga book and DVD as I've just been to my first Yoga class. It was harder than I thought it would be but I was proud that I went and completed the full 90 minutes despite having a bit of a cold. I told myself that this was just an excuse so made myself overcome it. I've booked onto an 8 week beginners' yoga course, hopefully it will improve my flexibility and strength.

I've done a FIT log for this week, done 1 session on the Wii fit earlier in the week plus the yoga today. I need to do at least 1 more session on the Wii plus I was also aiming to swim 20 laps and walk to school and back on one day, which will have to be Tuesday my weigh in day.

Hi all....wow it's took me a while to catch up. I am at target and am determined to stay there. I dont attend group so will continue to follow ee from book I have. As I'm top of my target I want to lose 3lb for challenge please. This is second day in a row I've stuck to plan and used no more than 15 syns and will continue so scales are hopefully kind to me on Friday.

Will try to keep up with you all x

I thought it was also only Quorn chunks and mince that were free on SP but I have looked on the SW website where they give you ideas on SP meals, recipes and tips and on one of the meals it says roast dinner with Quorn fillets (P).

That was in the feature by the vegetarian consultant. Its a misleading article because shes supposed to be bigging up EESP and then goes on to say she loves quorn sausages for breakfast and fillets in a roast. Well sausages are a definite no-no, so i think shes talking more about swapping to EE from green, rather than SP. Her only clear reference to SP is changing from spuds to butternut squash
  • Hi everyone

I was a sometime poster mostly lurker a little while ago but I'd like to come back and join in if that's ok?

I'd like to join in the challenge and try and lose 14lbs please.

My parents and sister have done really well on SW, but I struggled quite a bit when I was going to class. I'm not going to rejoin the class (it gets a bit much to pay a fiver a week to sit in a room, be told you've put on weight and make excuses/promises that everything's going to change) but tbh there's more information on this thread than I ever got from class anyway.

Personally I think the paleo, all natural way of eating is the healthiest way, but it is very meat and veg heavy and my bf is a veggie which makes food shopping and menu planning hard work. We've tried doing seperate meals but he ends up having toast for tea, which makes me want toast, and I don't get on very well with wheat. He's always been a "stick to 1500 cals a day" kinda guy, but he's put on 2 stone in the last 3 months so he's happy to give SW a go proper. I've asked my mum to pick me up a branded foods book at her club, and I'm hoping she'll send me the mirror leaflets too, because I know they read that. Bf has about 4 stone to lose and I've got about 8, but a stone will do to get me started.

I've just stood and made a syn free squash and cauliflower curry which he declared as disgusting, so I guess I'm eating that for the next couple of days to get it used up (it is pretty grim tbh, it got stuck to the bottom of the pan so it tastes a bit burnt). I'll struggle a bit with breakfasts, we have oats so simple at work which isn't a HE, but I'm going to pretend it is for a little while until I figure out something else. It does fill me up for most of the morning and there's no nasties in it, so I figure it's not the worst thing in the world for now.

I signed up for a 10k on the 1st of Feb and was doing a bit of training for it before Christmas, we went to the gym today and I've impressed myself that I was able to jump back in where I left off, despite the fact I've barely moved from the sofa for 3 weeks. The christmas chocolate is all gone and it's back to work tomorrow, so I'm feeling quite positive about this being a fresh start.

I'm another weight loss program addict. I'm not sure it's a healthy thing but personally if I can see someone much heavier than me doing a bit of walking it makes me feel like I have no excuse for not being active. I get quite angry with myself sometimes that I don't have any diseases or illnesses and yet I've made myself unhealthy when there's people out there with debilitating diseases that can't help themselves.

Looking forward to getting to know you all, and sharing some of your success!

Gien - I've added you on but my chart only works in lbs unfortunately, I've put you down for 8lbs. if you don't mind converting your losses for me then i'd be grateful

Of course Shala_moo, no problem at all, thanks for keeping track of us all.
I have planned out for tomorrow andI think it is ok for the EESP.

BF: all bran (HEB and HEA).
Lunch: Salmon with broccoli and carrots. Might do some lentils to go with it.
Dinner: cold meat cuts, pickles, salad.

Is it correct that I should be able to have another HEB? And I guess I can use fruit as a snack (I have only apples and satsumas at the moment.
    Trying to keep in budget.
