Good evening everyone I would just like to ask if anyone has had the S/W sausages from Iceland I myself thought that the skins were tough, although the sausage themselves were tasty..:D
Totally agree but it is nice to have sausages with brekkie which are syn free. The flavour is very nice like a spicy cumberland and I love the cumberlands anyway. Am yet to try the meatballs which I have also heard good reports about.0 -

Had the meatballs tonight, very tasty and good that you can cook them from frozen.. The sausages were ok but don't think I'd bother again as I think £3 for 6 is a bit steep0 -
Sorry to hear you've still got the sciatica pain tie.:)
:T to all losers and those feeling hopeful!!;)
I've managed 3 days of SP so nearly halfway through. I was thinking of having potatoes for Sunday lunch irrespective but now I want to stick with it for the week and see what happens - I haven't weighed myself either, I want to see if this week does anythingBetter not be a gain :rotfl:
I think it's good that you're giving it a try with HM food as tweets SP experiment with ready meals didn't really work. I'll be interested to see how you get on. I find cutting carrots in big chunks the size of new potatoes is a good potato substitute and you can roast them if you want. I think it helps psychologically to have something to cut into. Or celeriac like mim said.
pammy, you could lose that weight quickly if you gave SP a shot (just protein and veg/fruit) but Extra Easy is more 'normal' and sustainable. If you want some help, just post your planed menus. The worst Quality sausages I have seen is 40% meat, but usually they average from 70 - 90% meat. The better the sausage the less fat and rubbish they contain.
What is SP (Speed-food/Protein)?
Like other I have the Sainsbury's sausages at 70% meat but I've yet to try the SW ones.
SP is the 'new' fast track plan where you cut out free food and just have HEXs and have 50:50 Speed Food (most fruit and veg) and Protein (lean meat/fish or pulses or some Quorn products)Some thoughts please lovely peeps.
I have changed my target so it is higher than it was.
MY BMI is currently 27.
I am beating myself up as that means I am technically overweight.(Was obese).Should I keep trying to loose or be happy as I am.
Have a happy Saturday all.
Like some others have said I'd ignore the numbers and keep going until you're happy. I know I'm best motivated by by vanity:o and health benefits are a bonus. I'd just keep going until you feel good in your clothes size. And perhaps discuss it with your GP?
Had a NSV today. I went to wash the black skinny jeans I bought in M&S sale at the same time as dress. Tag said size 12 regular. I knew they were very long (no prob for me at 5ft 9) so guessed that's why they hadn't sold. When I looked at the cloth, washing label they're actually Size 10 long. Delighted that I've been fitting into size 10 skinnies!!:D
Another meal out today, could have been worse as everyone else decided on ice cream at theatre afterwards for pudding but I had a cup of tea! Hope you enjoy your Indian mim.
Our game is at lunchtime tomorrow so I'll cook SW meal at home in the evening. May have a pub snack though. Sorry if I'm not being very helpful at the moment but it's good for me to keep a handle on it and eat SW whenever I can.0 -

Thanks for that info, think I'll try the SP for 1 week and see how it goes.0 -

For the record, my chronic heartburn did clear up when I lost weight
Doctors work by a code of conduct, which puts the patient first.
I think Doctors will try their best to offer advice beneficial for a healthy lifestyle, it's not about the waistline, it's about all the problems that can form due to carrying excessive pounds, and there are an awful lot of them.
WOW Snap, my heartburn has gone too since the change in diet.
I have given up coffee too, and tried caffeine free since the plan.
I used to take tablets every day, but since the change, I have not had to take these.
My Mum also has had the same experience.SW loss= 15.5kg / 2st 6.2lb0 -
Tie, I don't know if I have mentioned it or not but I have very bad Arthritis, I also started with sciatica on my right side pins and needles in my foot then numbness up the right leg to my hip and the pain was bad. I had pain killers and used Voltarol gel. It became easier and then for ten minutes every day I went on my son's stationary bike, by the end of the week the sciatica had gone. I still go on the bike but I have to use a rollator to help me walk when I go out, because I can't walk very far.
Believe me the sciatica pain has gone and I don't want it to ever come back. I thought my arthritic pain was bad, but sciatica wow! I wanted to chop my leg off.
Tie, if you have or can borrow a stationary bike, then do so, it will clear it up in no time.
Best of luck and I hope you will be pain free soon x.:)

TIE, I agree about March birthday peeps. I wonder why?
Maman said, “it's good for me to keep a handle on it and eat SW whenever I can”
Hear, hear! I’ve got so much happening just now, that I’m finding sticking to plan is very, very difficult. For example, our match was at 5.30 tonight (we won, hooray) so I made our main meal at lunchtime and I planned just a snack for when we got home about 8.30. When we arrived at the ground, it was really, really cold so I got lentil soup to heat me up. It came with a roll and butter, so I had that too. Then afterwards DH decided he was too hungry for a snack, so we stopped for a fish supper (some of DH’s chips and single fish for me, shared that with furry friend). And he bought rolls to go with it, so of course, I ate that too.:o
Following on from that, I’m going to withdraw from the challenge, shala. I don’t think I’m going to get anywhere – certainly not this week as following tomorrow’s treat, I’m out for lunch on Wednesday & Friday and it’s my birthday on Saturday, so there is a big family dinner. I will be trying to minimise the damage by continuing to plan my meals - and trying to stick to the plan. Notice there is nothing about making wise choices when out. I’ll still post my plans but there is no point messing up the challenge any more than I usually do. And I’ll let you know at the end of the challenge how I’ve done. Reading that, I realise I’ll be doing the challenge but not ON the challenge; it’s a bit like doing SW but not going to class, lol.;)
On the footie front, maman, I see Southampton has appointed Ross Wilson as head of coaching & recruitment, from the summer. He was (presumably still is) a Falkirk supporter and started his player development career with us. He’s done well wherever he has been – long may it continue. Good luck tomorrow.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Morning all. Happy Mother's Day to all the mums amongst usjockosjungle wrote: »The problem is when I went to the Doctors with any health problem then the answer was to lose weight. So whilst a Doctor might not be nagging you, if you go with a problem the answer will be to lose weight.

My weight was mentioned when I went in with an ear infection! I think they have to advise on things like that whenever they see you. I would hope if I went in now they wouldn't say anything but my bmi is still a bit over the limit so maybe it would be said anyway.I think it's good that you're giving it a try with HM food as tweets SP experiment with ready meals didn't really work. The main problem I have with Sunday lunch is that we go to my parents house so I have to eat what they have cooked. I've put in requests this week, as I usually do, but can't be quite sure what I'll get. It's been very annoying some weeks because although my mum has done SW (did really well, now doesn't bother and has put all the weight back on) she doesn't think about what's being cooked  Had some marvellous fattening things served up and my dad who normally cooks it but with what he is told, is actually upset that it's going to cause me problems to eat it.
Brilliant on those size 10 jeans :T I deliberately bought some size 10 joggers for pottering round the house in, thinking it wouldn't matter if they don't fit well cos I won't leave the house in them - they actually fit fine
I still cannot get my head around the idea that I am not the size I was. I pick my trousers up and even though I know they fit I think that they can't possibly go round my waist. Now and again I see myself or notice something (like bones, where were they all these years!) and surprise myself every time.:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Morning
Happy Mothers Day to all Mums, hope somebody is spoiling you even if it's not the children. DH brought me tea in bed this morning so I'll consider that a treat even though we take it in turns to make the morning cuppa and have it in bed.
We make the most of lie-ins while we're here as when we get back we work 7 days a week so they're not an option.
It's great reading people's size successes, size 10 skinny jeans are never going to happen for me, but it's inspiring to remember what it's like to buy something in a 'normal' size and it fits. I'll be happy to wear a size beginning with a 1 instead of a 2 and to have prominent bones!
Crabapple it's sad that your Mum put all the weight back on and has given up on SW. It could be that she's not in the right frame of mind to do it again and maybe, like me, she needs something to focus her mind and get her back 'in the zone'. I've tried to stop the weight creeping back on a few times over the 12 years it took to get back to where I started, but this time I'm focused, I'm happy to take the scenic route, and I'm determined I'm going to be 'slim me' again.
I had 2 saboteurs before who weren't complimentary, telling me I looked old, gaunt, too thin, etc. they were my Mum and MIL, both gone now. Do you think your Mum is doing this to sabotage your success?
Have a great day everyone, enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Well, today's the day. So, Shala I have nothing to report I have STS can't put it in red or bold sorry.
I thought it was too good to be true. I have had those pretend Ferrero Rocher but only 2 at a time, that's 2 Syns within my 15 each day.:D
Anyway, it's not a gain, that's the main thing. I will keep plodding along good luck to everyone else. :T:T0
