    Some thoughts please lovely peeps.
I have changed my target so it is higher than it was.
    MY BMI is currently 27.
I am beating myself up as that means I am technically overweight.(Was obese).Should I keep trying to loose or be happy as I am.

    Have a happy Saturday all.

Some time ago there was some research carried out that showed people who Have a BMI between 25-30 have fewer health problems than those who are between 20-25, and I think there's some truth in that especially for those of us who are no longer in the prime of life.

I bet if you asked a GP about your weight they'd say you're ok but try not to put any on. And they should be sympathetic to the fact that you have physical difficulties that prevent you being as active as you could be.

Hope you've got over your falls.

Big hugs to all the bumped, bruised and poory peeps, hope you are all on the mend soon. Toilet issues? Welcome to my world ;)

WI STS Thank you for the chart Shala :A

I have been reading all week but feeling so down that didn't want to contribute. Stuck to plan but had more carby days than I wanted. Still have sciatica pain, mostly in my hip. Was hard work yesterday with his nibs especially when he hit me in the back. Too much bending as well during PE, pretty painful day :(.

Found a Genius fruit loaf in the freezer, half gone already :o. When it's gone I solemnly swear NOT to buy any more, you all are my witnesses to this :p
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
    Keep the Faith All

Congrats on your losses mim and gbatey :T

Yep, basically the strict plan for a week of weight loss boost (apparently, we shall see!). About 50/50 speed food and protein, minimal carbs so no free food although you can have two HEB.

I forgot to say that I did make the cottage pie, half potato topped, half carrot and swede. Didn't quite hit the same spot for me without potato but was quite yummy :) Another portion each for dinner tonight.

I think smedley is full of good advice! If you were obese then only being marginally overweight on the charts should not be a concern. You need to concentrate on how you feel about it, not the numbers. They are a guide not an absolute. Would you rather be a couple of bmi points lower because you would be happy at that weight or because it's what you are 'supposed' to be?

I would love to go down into the next stone again.
    Will ponder further.

Yes, of course it's possible. I only needed to lose about a stone when I started.

Are you planning on going to group? Certainly worth going at least once for the introductory talk and the new books.

    Denise

Wasn't going to bother with a group....got loads of info on internet, and this site and Facebook. Just wasn't sure if it would work with a small amount to lose. Did you lose the stone ok?

SW will take on anyone who has at least half a stone to lose, so following the plan will work. Just bear in mind if you don't have a lot to lose it is likely to come off slowly.

The problem is when I went to the Doctors with any health problem then the answer was to lose weight. So whilst a Doctor might not be nagging you, if you go with a problem the answer will be to lose weight.

I think they care more about wasteline, but not really sure.

For the record, my chronic heartburn did clear up when I lost weight
