Some thoughts please lovely peeps.
I have changed my target so it is higher than it was.
MY BMI is currently 27.
I am beating myself up as that means I am technically overweight.(Was obese).Should I keep trying to loose or be happy as I am.

The question is are you happy with the way you look and feel?
You look as though you have arrived after a long journey.
We are bombarded with facts, figures, rules, glossy magazines, & anorexic catwalk folk. Pressure pressure everywhere, so no wonder people are unsure about their body image.
BMI is a great guide to check your stats against the general population, but it is only a guide.
Just be happy, deep inside you already know the answer, just stay happy and healthy.SW loss= 15.5kg / 2st 6.2lb0 -

Morning everyone
Thanks for the replies yesterday about the sausages and thanks for the link meg that whole blog looks really interesting. Before SW I used to love richmonds pork sausages but they are something crazy like 5 syn each  not sure it's worth it! Looks like sainsburys is the way to go then! beanie and wizkid the sausages we had in the week were Iceland SW ones I was expecting them to be horrible but they were really quite yummy - I may have to go back for some more to keep in my freezer.
Menu for today:
B - shreddies with banana and milk
L - cous cous with veggies
T - chicken stir fry
Went over slightly on my syns yesterday so will try to be good today and aim for about 10
Got my SW cookbooks in the post yesterday which I ordered earlier in the week they are fab for anyone who's like me and struggles with meal planning - so many good ideas they'll keep me busy this weekend.0 -

Morning all. Well done to all you losers, and hugs for anyone who needs one.
I have had a little bit of a 24 hour virus so think this has boosted my loss for this week. Still feeling awful but may try to get the finger out and get to the gym later, loved my PT session this week and am really keen to keep it up.
B: sw fry up - lm sausage (2 syns), beans, sw chips and egg fried in fry light, followed by some fruit for speed
L: tesco healthy living soup (7 syns) and wholemeal bread (hexb)Baked potato, cheese (hexa) beans and broccoli
Snacks will be yogurt, speed fruit and still have some syns to play with.
Hope you all have a great day xxx0 -
Congrats on your losses mim and gbatey :TWhat is SP (Speed-food/Protein)?
Yep, basically the strict plan for a week of weight loss boost (apparently, we shall see!). About 50/50 speed food and protein, minimal carbs so no free food although you can have two HEB.
I forgot to say that I did make the cottage pie, half potato topped, half carrot and swede. Didn't quite hit the same spot for me without potato but was quite yummyAnother portion each for dinner tonight.

I think smedley is full of good advice! If you were obese then only being marginally overweight on the charts should not be a concern. You need to concentrate on how you feel about it, not the numbers. They are a guide not an absolute. Would you rather be a couple of bmi points lower because you would be happy at that weight or because it's what you are 'supposed' to be?:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

I'm pretty sure they used to be bigger too :rotfl::heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

I only have about 1/2 - 1 stone to lose. Do you think it is possible on SW? There seems so much food to eat!!0

Yes, of course it's possible. I only needed to lose about a stone when I started.
Are you planning on going to group? Certainly worth going at least once for the introductory talk and the new books.
