This happened to my mum too, she had a free referral to SW from the doctors for 12 weeks and lost weight - as soon as the time was up she stopped going and the weight's just piled back on. I worry about her as she has type 2 diabetes and has to be careful what she eats. My brother and SIL have lost a stone each with SW since christmas - in fact it was my mum who recommended SW to me, so I'm hoping she might join us again, we'll see.
Do you think it's the cost of attending class that puts her off? If she has access to the internet, maybe you could encourage her to join in this thread and go it alone. She obviously knows SW works and with other members of the family to support her she could do well.

Hi again
Well done Smedley and 32b, commiserations Wizkid - at least it wasn't a gain. Welcome Pammy60 .
I was giving some thought to my scenic weight loss route and so far I'm averaging about 5lbs a month which doesn't sound a huge amount, but that's 60lbs in a year - 4 stone 4lbs, I'll be happy if I can do that. My BMI would be 29 so I'd still want to lose more, but I'd be in the overweight category instead of obese. :j
Eating out tonight, tomorrow and Wednesday - it's a wonder I lose any weight!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend/Mothers Day.

I need to report a + 1 lbs gain
This last week has been tough with a lot on and that on top of a chest infection has led to me eating whatever I choose which has mainly been carbs drenched in cheesefollowed by something sweet
then more cheese smothered carbs
.
I do not want to be this size anymore. I want to be a positive role model for my family and I want to be fit healthy and enjoying everything life has to offer instead of being conscious of how I look. The thing is I keep slipping back into bad habits. I have now lost and gained the same half stone for the last three years.
So I am going to sit tonight and write out my meal plan for the week and make sure that I have everything I need to keep on track. My meals are fine it is all the additional emotional snacking that is not helping. I have also arranged to get back on track with my exercise buddy so once the chest infection has cleared I will be back exercising which will help too.
The next couple of weeks I am going to make a real effort to post often instead of slinking in and posting my gains. I can do this!

Still looks like your highly motivated so no need to worry.
The body weight can really fluctuate, I was just monitoring myself this week so I can better understand my body, and I caught my body weight varying +4.5 lbs from my last weigh in!
It don't help either when the body starts holding onto everything, had this since yesterday so I really feel for you.
Cheers
Thanks. Feeling much better today. Some thoughts please lovely peeps.
I have changed my target so it is higher than it was.
MY BMI is currently 27.
I am beating myself up as that means I am technically overweight.(Was obese).Should I keep trying to loose or be happy as I am.
Have a happy Saturday all.
If you FEEL happy where you are now, then that is fantastic. I would love to be able to fell happy with myself. I think that is more important that numbers on a chart iykwim??candyapple wrote: »Before SW I used to love richmonds pork sausages but they are something crazy like 5 syn each  not sure it's worth it!

I'll never be in the healthy range on the BMI chart beanie.. My target is 12st and the calculator says I should be between 8st 3lb and 11st 2lb.. Thats never going to happen.. I was obese when I started too and now am at 28.7 that won't change much at 12st either
Going to see how I feel in myself if I ever manage to get to that target, might take a while at the rate i'm going :rotfl:
Nice NSV there maman :j
Went into Manchester today to watch the St. Patrick's day parade, blew the cobwebs away as have been stuck in a rut of work and not going out lately.. Ended up going on my own but enjoyed it and had a good wander around the shops after.. I bought a naughty pack of proper Irish sausages on a stall there, i'm ignoring syns and going to enjoy every one of them0 -
I have totally lost the plot this week. It's been so long since I've had a decent weight loss, I keep losing and gaining the same pound, half a pound at a time. Thus has been going on for about 6 weeks.
I've been eating for England and the commonwealth too! I've had cake, candy, pizza, Thai food, fish and chips, loads of bread toasted with butter. I woke up this morning and it hit me- what have I done to myself?:(
I've weighed myself and think I've gained about 4 lbs. I'm over my food rebellion now, I want to get on with it. Do you all think I should have a week of low carb first before going back on SW? I think the number of carbs on SW might have been a trigger for my binging. But I love the SW way of eating so much:oWhen life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0
