Morning
Thanks for all the helpful suggestions yesterday, sadly nothing has worked yet so I'm reporting my first gainsince starting SW in November. Shala it's +1 for me this week. Being Dh's birthday hasn't helped but I'm back on plan this week, and once the various remedies start taking effect I might have a good result next week.
Well done hostie, SallyCinammon and anyone else who's winning the battle of the bulge this week!
Hope you're ok Beanie, have a dodgy group hug :grouphug:, and hope the birthday girls enjoyed their special days.
Have a good day.

Morning.
Goodness we've had torrential rain through the night and this morning.
Today's menu.
He a skim milk
He b probably 2 x alpen lights
B sweet lemon couscous - blooming lovely!!
L chicken noodle salad ( not quite bang bang style as haven't all the ingredients but still 1 syn)
Spanish ommlette with salad, liberte honey yogurt (1 1/2) and frozen cherries
Snacks, alpen bars, frozen cherries or Apple.
Still low syn I know but I'm banking them for the weekend.0 -
Morning all. Delighted to report that WI wasn't too bad last night. I was expecting at least 2-3lbs on but by some miracle managed -0.5lb
It's not my biggest ever loss but with what I've eaten and drank the past two weeks, I'll take any loss.
I'd love to say that today will be my first on plan day in a while but I'm going out with a friend tonight so I'm going to be realistic and deal with the fact that I will go over syns. I'm hoping to keep it to about 25 which would allow me 6x 25ml measures of vodka with Diet Coke. My tactics for trying to stay within that are to having just the one drink when I go to my friends before going out (I'd usually have plenty!) and then when I'm out having my vodkas in a large glass and asking for it to be topped right up with Diet Coke so it lasts me longer.
So, the plan for today is:
Breakfast - 2xsmall wholemeal toast (HEB) with a scraping of light spread (1 syn) and a clementine
Lunch - Mugshot and apple
Dinner - Vegetable pasta bake (HEA for cheese)
Evening - 6x vodka & Diet Coke (24 syns)0 -
Counting pennies hugs - Hate when a horrible mood like that strikes and nothing seems to be going right
. Your eating is one thing that you can control and you will feel so much better when you get fully back on board.
I am on Day 4 now of behaving myself after being terrible, sluggish, cross and generally awfully I am feeling a lot better already. Just went through terrible ladies probs too for about 3 weeks! I am starting to deflate thank goodness and there is lots of toilet activity sorry tmi!! I'm sure but I am quickly feeling the benefits of being back on board! Blackberries also seem to be effective!!
Friday 13th today and my Drs Appt today
Anyway I have BGTY Sausages, beans and mixed veg to look forward to for lunch and it is Friday so all in all I cannot complain!!:rotfl:
I'd love to be at target for the possible op so I am going in healthy so currently that is my goal. Who knows with the NHS could end up being next week or in 6 months time :rotfl:0 -
Hope all goes well at the Dr's this morning Lantanna.
Feeling pleased with myself this morning - I've finally got out into the garden again and done another hour's digging, but the ground is still very heavy (clay soil) from all the rain we've had, although it's now been dry for a full week. More rain forecast for tomorrow which made me determined to get out there today.
Problem is because I don't usually exercise an hour's digging is about as much as I can manage in a day! If the rain holds off in the morning I'll try to get out there again then.

Hi everyone
It's a vile day here - rain all night and now so grey and dark
Today's foody bits:
B - overnight oats with banana and apple
L - tuna pasta with salad
T - SW burgers with SW chips and veg
Syns - tassimo latte, probably a couple of G&Ts later
HEA - milk in cuppas, HEB - oats
Can anyone recommend any tasty low-syn sausages? The ones we had yesterday were really nice but at £3 for 6 I wondered if there was cheaper alternatives out there.0 -

Saisnbury's do a 1 syn sausage, its a cumberland and 8 for £2, it's just their be good to yourself ones, I think other supermarkets do similar. Some butchers might do a syn free one or a decent quality one, but they're harder to syn.0

I buy the Sainsburys BGTY ones they are one syn each, I really like them. We have some strange Irish diet ones over here as well but I don't like them.0
