Just remembered, I love olives and feta cheese, tomato and anchovies.
Maybe this could be my treat.
Will have a good look through the "Low Syn Snacks 2015" booklet.
Edit
I have been looking, I can add nuts as HEB, then add more nuts to my salad to make up my daily Syns to 5 or more.
I bet you have not seen many people struggling to reach a Syns target of 5, from what I have read in the forum, most people have trouble keeping within 15 Syns.
I guess the EE plan along with the books are just to low in Syns!
You have helped a lot maman lets hope I start to feel a bit more concentrated.
Edit
Question ANYONE:
What makes a soup suitable for HEB?
Is there a recent full list of HEB soups from supermarkets & discounters?
Are other soups suitable if I eat less from the tin?
Can home made soup, be a HEB?
Sorry for the bombardmentSW loss= 15.5kg / 2st 6.2lb0 -
Well I'm back on track and pleased to report a 1lb loss :j0

There is a list of soups you can have as HEB in the latest book on P32, or on the SW website.
Unfortunately you can't just use any tinned soup and just have less of it as have it as HEB, you would need to syn it.
If you don't go to group so don't have book or access to website, hopefully someone will have a list they can put up (I tried to copy to paste here but it wouldn't let me!)
By the way pasta is a Free food so OK to have but of course you must have at least 1/3 of your plate as Speed food - I think that's where the problem comes if you have large portions of carbs - it certainly does for me. I always put the veg on my plate first and then it makes it much easier to make sure you con't have too much pasta. Hope that makes sense.

Morning
Can anyone suggest a guaranteed remedy for constipation? Sorry if this is too much info.I was showing a good result on the scales on Monday but I haven't been since then and now I'm not. I need a miracle by tomorrow!
Smedley - there's a link to HEBs on post #1, although I'm not sure if it's the most up to date. Someone with access to the SW website will be along soon who can probably help. I'm not aware if any HM soups count, usually they're free, but you could add a HEB to hm soup. Bread is the obvious choice but I know you don't eat it.
Beg - I know exactly where you're coming from re the dress. When I was at target I used to try clothes on just for the sake of it, with no intention to buy, because I could.
We had a great time at the dinner and dance last night, we walked there (1km each way) and had a bop although not as much as we used to because my knee was hurting. There was an Everly brothers tribute on, and we would normally have been jiving to it but not anymore.
Have a good day everyone.

Had my 1st WI this morning and pleased to report a 3lb loss I'm over the moon! Feel like it could have been a touch more if we hadn't went off plan and had a chinese last night after hubby's visit to the docs. I only ate half of mine, my appetite seemed to have wandered off somewhere. This week I'm going to make a conscious effort with my speed foods and see if I can keep up the good work.
Hi to the fellow newcomers Proserpina and MeandOI opted for SW online membership as I'm unable to get to any of my local groups at the times offered, have found this thread so friendly I really dont feel like I'm missing out - plenty of handy hints and meal planning ideas on here as well.

Oh yes Meg the butt did scream no no no all the way to the gym but I made it go and did half an hour, small steps and all that! Back again tonight, I forgot how it makes me sleep much better too !
Wizkid I made them once for taster night, I enjoyed them but found myself with half a jar of Nutella left over which got discovered hanging out in the cupboard one particularly bad week and eaten so for me yes there nice but not something I’ll be making again.
BEG - Removing body organs to lose weight no I’m just quite that bad yet!! :rotfl:
Smedley – A fellow reformed white bread binger, I don’t touch or like the stuff at all now and its only when I am sick or something I crave white toast now but never have it. In my size 20 days I could have eaten 4 - 6 slices of it every day. Someone once told me to think of how if a slice of white bread gets wet it turns to glue and to imagine that in your insides. That has always stuck with me and put me off.
Lois – Things that work for me, Kiwi Fruit, Pomegrante Seeds, lots of water, broccoli, brussel sprouts! I too have done that try on things just for the sake of it and choosing clothes is much harder now because I have more of a choice and I want to look really nice all of the time not just passable like I used to. I have gotten so fussy lol

Has anyone ever started feeling clumsy while on the SW plan?
I am constantly bumping into door catches, door handles, & doing clumsy thoughtless things, this is not my normal mode of operation, strange!
I am eating Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Supper
Having milk every day from my HEA
Not having anything from HEB because my menus don't have anything, I don't eat bread either.
My Syns seem to be between 1 & 3.5 daily.
I am dividing my plates into thirds, veg, protein, carbs, or protein veg, or protein carb.
Any advice?
Good Morning
smedley I thought it was me getting older but I do these things as well . Its as though everything gets in my way I am always finding new bruises and not knowing how I got them

Morning
Thank you,
Yes I have the latest HE list, downloaded from SW, my mum has the optimizing book, think the info is the same though.
There is a short list of soups; rather short only 9 soups are suitable?
I was just wondering if say Morrisons, Waitrose, Tesco or Lidl have Branded or Own Brand soups suitable for HEB?
I can eat gluten free bread, once a month I have a slice, but I am not keen on it at all, just don't like the texture. This is why I excluded it from my HEB.
I wonder what makes a soup HEB suitable, maybe it's got more Syns than HM?
Thanks
@ Lois Lane
RE: constipation,
Just rule out medication, and other illnesses, are you drinking enough fluids in a day?
It's always best to try natural, or less harsh methods like Fybogel can help
You may wish to add some foods that contain sorbitol in your diet.
Sorbitol is a naturally occurring sugar. It is not digested very well and draws water into the gut, which has an effect of softening the stools.
Fruits (and their juices) that have a high sorbitol content include apples, apricots, gooseberries, grapes (and raisins), peaches, pears, plums, prunes :smileyhea , raspberries and strawberries. The concentration of sorbitol is about 5-10 times higher in dried fruit. Dried or semi-dried fruits make good snacks and are easily packed for transport - for example, in a packed lunch.

Shala this week's challenge weigh in from me is...STS
Thank you for your support and kind words maman, daisy, beg and meg
Daisy I love carbs (well potatoes and pasta) so not sure how I'd get on with SP. I have been trying to think of meals I could still enjoy if I tried SP days but I often have pasta or potatoes in some form for lunch at work (whether leek and potato soup or jacket potatoes or pasta salads etc).
I am trying a few days without oats or cereal for breakfast so I may need to get some HeB cereal bars in for mid afternoon.
Today I've gone for:
Breakfast: cup of tea with milk from HeA allowance. Melon, kiwi and apple
lunch: left over lamb bhuna, I believe the average take away portion is 12 syns and I have about 1/3rd of that so I will call it 5, with a little plain boiled rice and some lettuce, cherry tomato and cucumber. I have some NAS squash to drink alongside it
Mid afternoon: something to snack on, maybe a HeB cereal bar if I get some whilst in the supermarket at lunch or a piece of fruit
tea: chicken topped with tomato puree then extra lean bacon, sweetcorn, baby carrots, probably some baked beans (no chips/potato waffle or mash for me)
I do have a bottle of pepsi max in my draw should I need a little kick/fizz in the afternoon to re-energise me************************************
