Well it said that it made 28 to 30 but I only had 23 so mine would be more than 1 syn each. I do keep thinking about them it's a good job they're in the kitchen and I am in the lounge or I would keep eating them, until there would be none left.
I am trying my best not to over indulge ha ha !:rotfl::rotfl:

I do admire the willpower, being in the kitchen wouldn't stop me, lol figure its my kitchen, my space and I will go where I like, NO NO NO am not going to make these, unless its on Sunday lol

Oh B e g not nosey at all, :rotfl: its what I really love about this thread the way everyone shares news and supports each other.
I am pleased about smaller Jeans but being a frugal old sod slightly miffed that I wont get my wear out these, going to make a bag out of one pair though so not too bad.

Don't think my DS would agree with you on that one meg :rotfl:

Will be meeting up with the Man again the weekend but chat on phone daily. I am finding it hard to rein in the old cynic in me, I live by the Mantra if it sounds to good to be true" then it probably is. Still I am thinking go with the flow and see and am really enjoying chatting to him, he is very funny and easy to chat to, he says he is quite happy to let me set the pace so we will see.

    You enjoy it meg ;)

I would imagine its coming out as not much else they can do with them really these days. Nah I'm NHS so who knows when it will
get scheduled for mind you the scan came through pretty quick.

The lengths some people will go to to get a result on the scales. :p Fancy getting gall bladder removed (maybe) to help with weight loss - how much do they weigh btw - sorry :D

Has anyone tried the recipe.... Pretend Ferrero Rocher ?

I made them today. And I ate three they are supposed to be 1 syn each

I don't know how many Syns the real ones are but if they are a lot more, I will make the pretend ones again because they are not a bad substitute.
The only drawback is I want to eat more.:eek:

Daren't even attempt these as I know I couldn't just have one or two so I had better leave the nutella on the shelf wiz.

Get the dress beg, after all the weight you've lost recently you deserve a treat. Also whats the point of losing weight if you can't enjoy it. You never know OH may treat you to an outing so you can wear it ;)

I like your thinking durham. :D I did think that if I try dress and it fits, I will be happy not to buy it just yet but just knowing that I could buy it if I wanted to and it would look fine. This probably sounds a bit strange but I think I know where I am going with the idea :D Get me - talking dresses  This time last year it was 100% trousers and tent-sized tops. I know I am still classed as plus sized and still a work in progress but in a much better place now. :rotfl::rotfl:

Definitely deserve a treat Crabapple ;).

Eaten overnight oats and don't feel hungry now but that is not going to stop me from having a finger of twirl :p

Has anyone ever started feeling clumsy while on the SW plan?
I am constantly bumping into door catches, door handles, & doing clumsy thoughtless things, this is not my normal mode of operation, strange!

I am eating Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Supper
Having milk every day from my HEA
Not having anything from HEB because my menus don't have anything, I don't eat bread either.

My Syns seem to be between 1 & 3.5 daily.

I am dividing my plates into thirds, veg, protein, carbs, or protein veg, or protein carb.

    Any advice?

No, sorry, don't recognise the clumsiness.

To follow the plan properly you should be having far more syns. They're built into the plan to make it like normal, balance healthy eating and so sustainable long term unlike a diet. There must be things you had before joining SW (sweets? booze? crisps? cheese? cakes? biscuits?) that you could use to up your syns.

You don't have to have bread to have a HEB. What about cereals or cereal bars or dried or cooked fruit or nuts or even tinned soup?

To get the best results you really should try to follow the plan as closely as possible. It really won't help you to cut back on the plan to try to lose weight. Then you'll be losing because you're eating less and that's unlikely to be sustainable.

This is the problem, I am eating eating, eating, and not cutting back on food, I am trying to follow the plan closely.

    Example:
    B – Orange, G-Fruit/Grapes/Yogurt (2), Trop50 50ml (.5) [2.5 Syn]
L – Salad, egg, ⅓ tin mackrel [Free]
D – Bang Bang Chicken Noodle Salad (1) [1 Syn]
    S – Fruit [Free]
HEA - 100ml skimmed goats milk

B – Bacon Medallions, scrambled egg, tomato's, asparagus [Free]
L – Salad with egg and tomato, fish in tomato sauce 50g, [Free]
D – Seafood & tomato sauce, herbs, garlic, ginger, lots of veg [Free]
    S – Fruit, Trop50 100ml (1) [1 Syn]
HEA - 100ml skimmed goats milk

Before SW I had Breakfast and Dinner, full stop.

I have never really touched sweets, biscuits, cakes, crisps
I drink rarely, maybe one glass of Jack Daniels in a month, but I really have to be in the mood, this don't happen much.
I will have a piece of chocolate and add the Syn when I feel like it.

I could have Cheese on a Jacket, will have to portion and freeze some grated cheese into 30g portions so the 250g bag don't go mouldy.

I could eat nuts to get the syns up, I only eat fresh fruit, or fruit in juice, no dried except for dates at Christmas.
Tinned soup sounds like a good idea too!

Do you think if I get my Syns up to at least 5, this should be a better start?

    Thank you

Yes, a few extra syns would help. If you feel you're eating all the time and not enjoying it then cut back a bit on the portion size.

I'm sure you're doing fine with Speed food as I can see plenty of salad and veg in there but make sure you differentiate between free food and Speed food (most but not all fruit and veg).

I always keep grated cheese in the freezer. It defrosts really quickly or I sprinkle it over omelettes or mash before browning.

Apologies if you've told us already and I've forgotten but how did you get to gain weight in the first place? I'm only asking to try and work out what you could have as a treat.

    HTH.

    Thanks maman

    I don't mind sharing...

I was trying my best to eat healthy, but veg and fruit was not eaten regularly. White bread could have also played a role in weight gain, along with yogurt snacking at night.

The other main cause is suddenly been incapacitated and not being able to work which caused inactivity.

I never cooked with fry light before, it was always rape seed oil.

I will try and adjust my Syns intake, and get a HEB in my diet.

The last thing I want is to YoYo, so this is why I am asking how I can improve.
I see weight loss as long term, it's not a race, and healthy eating should be a way of life, and not a quick fix.

    Thnx

Edit: I loved pasta too, 300g portions...
It is obvious I was still eating the wrong foods.
