Well done BEG!! :T You have officially matched me in shineys, that was the last one I got and as far as I ever will go with them!!! You are doing so so well, I am excited about this for you!!

Mildredd by the time I get around to it we could be pregnant at the same time and go through that together too :rotfl: However there can only ever be one Mini!!! lol that's for sure

Random fact, I'm really annoyed about Crufts, 6 dogs were poisoned it turns out - what is wrong with the world :(

Ok I went to my new group, I did have a little wobble in the car park and considered going home but I didn't I went in. Go me!!

I did toy the entire time with keeping my history or not but I decided in the end not to. Yes I've done well and that's nice but that girl is gone now and I don't want to hear about it. There is a man there who is at target and he lost 4 stone 2 years ago and she still reads out our target member who lost 4 stone!!! It was two years ago lol:eek: . I found an old pic of me on Saturday that would scare the life out of you. I have changed so much I am totally unrecognisable - hair colour and everything!

The consultant did recognise me so sort of went off on a little tirade at her about the head melting of losing a significant amount of weight and the pressures of being your groups prize pig. :rotfl: I think she thinks I am a little unstable:rotfl:. I prob am right now lol tbh

Oh Meg - that book would outsell fifty shades I'm sure!! :rotfl:I am glad that your date went well and he appears to be nice and normal, as I say to Mildredd its the percentage of craziness in them and if your craziness can cope with their craziness that's what matters :D. They def all have a little crazy and other words I could use but won't about them!!! lol I'm having a big break from them til the summer I think its all about me right now!! :D I have no time or inclination to entertain one right now:rotfl:

Anyway today is embrace SW or give up for good day and the latter is not an option!!

So in other news some of you will remember I have been having horrible attacks of trapped wind and been quite ill with it. Well I thought it was trapped wind but turns out following a scan on sunday I have gallstones . So Drs Appt on Friday to discuss whats going to happen now - I suspect goodbye gallbladder is the only option really. I'm quite bewildered by this really as I was adamant it was indigestion and I was just being sent to fulfil some NHS appointment filling quota. Clearly not! Just shows I am not always right!!! I think I've been stuffing myself the last few weeks with nerves really, my Dad had a long battle with Bowel Cancer which thankfully he survived so that is always a concern having that in the family and I am him in every way:mad: looks, personality the heap!

Anyway so the form is a bit strange, a little bewildered by the gallbladder stuff and a little bit scared - just coz I thought I was maybe now healthy! I know its no big deal at all and very common but just unpleasant going through the stress of hospital appointments waiting and an op I guess and I am a little worrier:rotfl:

Shala - 15 lbs for my target please and that will see me back at target

Oh last night at the new group did me some good as it reminded me overall how well I have done and there was a woman there who has rejoined 15 times and never lost more than 6 lbs!! Here I am 2 years on and yes I may have 15 lbs back on but I'm still there, trying, battling and fighting when many have given up and walked away!! Sorry for the sermon but its therapeutic :rotfl: I still have lost 5 stone 2 lbs and am a size 12 so I think its time to stop being so hard on myself!!

    Morning :)

    Happy Birthday Shala-moo! :bdaycake:

Well done B-e-g, fantastic loss for this week and altogether :T - congratulations for the latest shiny. :j it's great having a surprise weight loss like that when you've been going for a while.

Well done to everyone posting losses so far this week.

Meg - he sounds lovely, I hope he's 'the one'. I like your comment about him having sisters, being from a family of 4 girls and 1 boy, I'd like to think my brother has similar qualities.

I know several people who are now in happy relationships having met on line so it does work, but there are some rogues, male and female, so it pays to be careful.

It's Dh's birthday today and we're going out for a celebration meal tomorrow night so today I think a cafe brunch is on the cards. :p

Have a good :A day everyone!

  • Hello everyone!
I've been reading this thread for a while now and putting off getting started on my diet... Until yesterday!
I'm now 1 day in and thought it was the perfect time to say hi :-)
I have been off work since October following a nasty brain haemorrhage, and the weight has just piled on. Quite daunting to think of starting to lose it all over again - as I've been a member of SW in the past.
But feeling determined and positive, and it is lovely to see how friendly and supportive everyone on the forum is.
    Wish me luck! x

Sorry had no time to read... Just pop in to confess to a weight gain - 0.7lb on this week.

I am not going to complain, as was eating loads of rubbish, but with my daughter being ill last week and son being sent home from nursery yesterday with vomiting and diarrhea, I am not going to bother about the weight gain. I just need to get over it all and get myself sorted!

Went to fleamarket on sunday and stayed all day, as voluntered to help with cake sales (I only had one slice of cake, and only because I didn't bring any lunch with me as it was not planned). Sold some things and made 125 euros, can't complain!
